  1. Makes you wonder why they didn't carry over the digital aspect more for the mk4 I remember my nan used to have a MG Maesto (1981 I think) that had loads of digital stuff, and a on board computer that even talked to you
  2. Monitors revs, speed, trip distance, battery voltage, and with the G sensor it also monitors L/R and F/B G forces. It'll also do 0-100, 200 or 300 km/h times and has peak hold figures. It can plot the G forces on X/Y axis if needed, and I think it can work out bhp as well. The monitoring functions of the first few things can be monitored via text, digital graphs, or a constant plotting graph Quite a cool gadget really for the money
  3. It's just picking boxes at random to eliminate the different amounts of money in them - the only thing I don't get is the contestants who have 'feelings' about certain boxes, or lucky numbers they pick..... I just shout at the TV "it's all completely random luv!"
  4. Couple more pics: http://www.redlinemag.com/resources/redline/wallpaper1.jpg http://www.redlinemag.com/resources/redline/wallpaper2.jpg Speaking of this, I've always loved the graphics on it, they really suit it and don't like OTT despite their size
  5. I meant a feed once the lights are on so the LED only comes on at night (unless I've missed that the passenger side has a light in it as well ) I guess I'd better start finding out a way to do it before my gf puts her fingers through my new speakers then!!
  6. Anyone ever considered doing this? Most of my mates and my gf always seem to aim for the speaker grille rather than the door handle when trying to get out the car (at night of course ) I was thinking of drilling a hole for a LED into the back of the door handle surround and wire it up to the main dash lights, yay or nay? I guess on the driver side I can take a feed from the window switch, not sure if I'd have to run wires for the passenger side though?
  7. If it fits a standard TT then I'll have it off your hands, PM me with how you want payment
  8. None of my cats have ever played fetch, but my gfs old cat did However my new kitten does have a habit of picking up his toys in his mouth and running away with them to play with them, guess I need to teach him to bring them to me instead!
  9. Have you got any of the interior trim clips still? (ie the ones that hold on the lower kick panels - 2 piece plastic that you push the middle in to remove it)
  10. You know the ones, they hold the door card ends on, and some of the interior trim, you have to push the middle bit in to remove the clip..... well I didn't know that originally so have broke a couple If anyone has a few lying around I'll gladly take them off your hands, thanks a lot!
  11. Worse when you itch your eye Haven't done the 'classic' chilli mistake though - go to the toilet (or get to third base )

    Indoor Cats

My 2 cats are indoor cats, partly cos we moved from a quiet area to a close that as a lot of traffic, so I didn't want them going on the road in a new area, and partly because my new kitten is an exotic longhair so don't want him going walkies into someone elses hands (plus he is a bit dim anyway) They do go out if we are also outside to keep an eye on them, but to be honest they don't seem to go far anyway, or just laze under the bushes. Only once has my eldest gotten over the fence, but she came back round pretty quick when she realised she was lost!
  13. I got a really good price from you last week when I was buying my supra, I switched over the insurance from my prelude to the supra and it worked out at £58 more per year, which I was very impressed with considering the power difference etc. I think the price was somewhere around £580, and I'm 25 with 7 (or 8) years NCB and no points. This is on a JDM GZ TT aerotop.
  14. Looks really cool mate, did you use the Hella LED rings or custom make the rings?
  15. It is cheeky, but there is nothing stopping him taking a pic of your car if he saw it on the street and using that on ebay really. Something about intellectual property I think, as long as the pic is either used for review or criticism. Not too sure, but maybe just drop him a email to ask him to remove it if you don't like it on there. I know I wouldn't like my car being on the net like that
  16. It could be that your strings are too thick? Try changing to a set of 8s or 9s You can get away with bending the high E or B strings 5 semitones but that'd probably be the limit until it your fingers reach the top of the fretboard Alternatively, it might be that he played the solo originally on a guitar with a floyd rose, and used the trem to 'bend' the string up that far??
  17. Brian, you're making me feel guilty for buying it now! And yes, I am totally OCD about car cleaning, I think I'm close to owning about 100 different products for my car now (guess I should change my username to supra_stan now ) I'd also just like to thank Brian and Angie for being so nice about selling it, and being so nice to me while I was at theirs, despite the fact they were trying to put me off buying it at the same time . Never met anyone who was so passionate about their cars, so I hope I can do the Supra some justice when I get it.
  18. I've got the orange Silverline rotary and it's good for the money - I use Chemical Guys Edge pads on mine which work well (the standard pads are next to useless) But as others have said, for a beginner it's best to pick up a Porta Cable or something which is pretty much unable to burn through paint. They are more expensive, so factor in if you think you will use it a lot of maybe do mates cars for a price. If it's gonna be too much - it may be worth paying a detailer to remove the swirls in your paint, then you can just concentrate on keeping it clean and waxed after that. Detailingworld would be your first port of call with regards to what to do etc, there is a mine of information there. I tend to favour Poorboys polishes and Chemical Guys finishing products, but the choice is immense really depending on your budget.
  19. Honda do some nice 'pearl' blacks - Nighthawk Black has green flecks in it, Pirates Black has purple flecks in it, and Granada Black has gold flecks in it. They are subtle from a distance, but show up in the sunlight. Alternatively you could always have your sprayer put some pearl in the lacquer when you have your car sprayed if you are after something different? That is what I went for when I had a respray. Looks blinding in the sun, only downside is that is looks 'dusty' when not in the sun due to the flakes
  20. I don't think you have to explain lyrics to people as they will always interpret them differently to how you do I tend to write a couple of songs a month, usually have more music written as opposed to lyrics, although more often than not a genuinely good one will only come out once every few months, the others I tend to rewrite for a long while and usually end up scrapping them or nicking bits for other songs I prefer to write the music first and leave lyrics to other people though as mine are normally the cliched 'boys loves girl' type of song, unless I write metal/hardcore songs in which case it's normally nihilistic/apathetic views on things
  21. A cheaper option would be: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Load-resistors-LED-indicator-stop-tail-light-bulbs_W0QQitemZ220255575670QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item220255575670&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318 That's what I used when I put LED bulbs in my prelude, you just splice one side into the +ve and one into the -ve wire that goes to each bulb you've replaced
  22. Do you incorporate a fog into the lights? And can the buyer choose where the brake/indicators/reverse lights are if they don't want them in the normal place? Might have to pay you a visit when I get a supra for the dash conversion as well
  23. Hey bluecoup, long time no speak! I did spot a supra up on Plumstead Rd the other day where your old prelude used to park - I guess that's yours?!! Thanks for the welcomes as well guys
