  1. I'm sure people will still do them, they'll just have to be very careful who they sell them to (ie it'll probably be to people they know otherwise it could be the undercover DVLA )
  2. I removed my sound deadening at the weekend as a couple of the clips had broken and it was hanging, and rubbing on a couple of engine bits It did make my BOV a lot louder as well
  3. Do you do anything that fits under the roof from an aerotop (i.e. assuming the owner removed the spare wheel and tool kits)??
  4. Nice, although it just makes me realise how much I need to machine polish mine, especially as it's black as well!!
  5. Could I have the link as well please?
  6. It's neater to have a double din unit, but I have a powermeter and SBC under my stereo, so I'd have to relocate those. Something to think about if you were ever planning on putting any additional gauges etc in
  7. I started off learning a few of the basic chords, and just playing 2 over and over again with different strumming patterns, alternating chords (ie G then C then G etc, or D and A, or whatever you want) Once you manage to nail the chord transitions, you could try strumming differently, or playing 3 chords repeated for example to build up the muscle memory of changing to different chords. Then you could go for 'harder' chords, ie the minors, or suspended ones etc Maybe you could use a metronome program on the net to keep your timing in check as well? Or use that when playing chords, ie strum a G chord for 4 beats, then a C chord for another 4 beats?
  8. I imagine it'll just be a +ve and -ve feed, so you could splice into the drivers side power supply
  9. Thanks Nic, I think I had seen you post that up before but wasn't really understanding the instructions! I can't tell whether I should be following the instructions for the single turboactuator or twin turbo actuator (I think I read you treat it as single), also do I put it on the 1st or 2nd turbo? If someone could confirm that all I need to do is cut the pipe between the compressor and actuator, then use those pipes to go to my solenoid box, I'll be happy!
  10. Right, I'm being a complete idiot here, but I don't know a lot about turbo cars and don't want to be messing anything up! I've got my Supra with the Blitz SBC-ID III fitted in the car already. There is already a blue pipe from the engine bay into the cabin which the unit it T-pieced into, this reads the boost pressure I assume since that part of the unit works fine Now, the solenoid unit is already installed in the engine bay... but I have no idea which pipes to connect up/disconnect/block off etc, and the fitting instructions I've found don't really make it any easier. What I really need is someone to either post pics of what pipes go where, or I'd like some detailed instructions as to what to do when installing. Please help! Kthnx
  11. That's quite a bit for a 2.3 to be honest, but if you're happy to hold out for the price you might find someone willing to buy it.
  12. Better put the soop in the garage tonight then....
  13. It's a good price if you've never played before and want to see if you can do it I reckon. FWIW, I started out on a Squier strat which wasn't set up perfect or anything, but after learning to play on that then swapping to a half decent (easy to play) Ibanez, it made it a lot easier to player the harder stuff (if that makes sense?)
  14. I never managed to remove the limiter with my RSM when I had my prelude, although the wiring was all correct Ended up getting it chipped to remove the limiter.
  15. http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/nothing/paypal.asp It is true, it is some class action lawsuit against paypal, but I don't know if it it applies to UK residents or not (mainly geared towards the US customers)
  16. http://www.maestro.org.uk/maestro/ Halfway down the page, info on the dash. Looking at the dates it was made though, it must have been 1983 when it first came out, as it was a Y reg
  17. The only thing that annoys me about Eggheads is how everyone has to debate their 3 given answers, they should just say the answer that is correct, not tell everyone why the other 2 answers aren't correct
