Yes that's exactly it started missing got told by a mechanic it could be plugs so bought new plugs when I went to fit them I found a lot of oil in and around the back 3 plugs cleaned it up fitted new plugs then after a couple of weeks same problem re appeared I have not had it back apart to look but guess there will be oil around the back 3 plugs again. I'm capable of changing cam gasket and clean up but I really want a local ish expert to give the engine a once over as I need to know if it's worth spending time and money on this engine.

It's the n/a and yes I believe the oil is coming from the cam covers I replaced the spark plugs last January and drove the car for a couple of weeks with no real problems then it started showing the same problems as before I have not taken it apart to see if there is more oil settled on and around the plugs but I'm guessing there will be. Will that cause the problems I'm having?

If I knew I wouldn't need a garage to look at it lol. Its mostly an issue with it only running on 3 cylinders I think it's to do with all the oil around the rear 3 spark plugs but I'm not a mechanic so that's a bit of a guess I really just want that looked at and for it engine to be give a health check.

Hi not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm looking to put my supra back on the road it has been sat up for over a year. I need a garage/mechanic that knows about supra's as it has engine trouble and I dont want to waste a lot of money having a local garage look at it when someone with better knowledge of a supra could point to the problem straight away. I live near Bournemouth so a someone in the dorset area would be preferred. Any help or advice please

hi sorry been away. dont know the make of the manifold and the oil feeds are from a local pipe and thread place near me very high quality. i dont know any thing about the kits on ebay but i can tell you this kit i have will fit your supra with no problems and i have added things like the distibuter cap and had the plates welded to the down pipe so you can fit your stock lambda sensors

it was cheap from toyosports as i was selling i could not afford to spent loads on replacing the turbo but im sure it will work untill someone want to upgrade it

didn't get round to buying the ecu only had the turbo on the car for a week was looking at putting the GREDDY E-MANAGE ULTIMATE PIGGYBACK ECU on.

hi im selling my turbo convertion kit for the N/A supra some people may remember seeing this kit on my supra at JAE 2009. well i cooked the turbo driving it there so i have just replaced the turbo for a new one so it will come with a years warrenty i have also added new oil lines. so in the kit you will get : t70 turbocharger (new) t4 vband turbocharger (bearings shot but has all the parts on to swap to the new turbo) turbo manifold (needs gasket from manifoild to head) downpipe ( i have had 2 plates welded on the downpipe to allow fitting of 02 sensors) 40mm wastgate with 3 spings for different psi settings intercooler with hard pipe and all samco hose blitz air filter (not the correct fit but works) heat cover for hot side of turbo oil filter sandwich plate for oil feed to turbo distributor cap ( as the stock supra one gets in the way of the air intake) all pipes and conectors im looking for £1150 for the kit i also have brand new in box the blitz ssdd dump valve i will sell this for £120 as thats what i paid for it off ebay there is already a samco T pipe with the intercooler pipe to take the dump valve.

no i only got banned for a couple of months for talking on the phone i really was not going to drive the car but my mates needed a taxi and i stupidly said yes i dont need to be told how much of an idiot i was i already know.

i know not clever if it helps i dont make a habbit of this sort of driving i have not even had as much as a speeding ticket while driving my supra over the last 2 year.

no licence i know stupid me i should not have drove that night its my own falt there will be one less of these beautiful cars now on the road sorry guys

yes that was it they arrested me later they were not happy as they were in a 330i bmw with as the police woman said sports mode on and i was still pulling away i even got up to speeds of 130mph in my jap import with a limiter on work that out.

i think this link should work the video has a long intro you have to wait till the police car gets to the roundabout befor the chase starts. i feel the punishment is a little harsh for this crime having my car crushed is over the top even the prosecutor said that and she was not ment to be on my side in court.

yes but its not in very good condition very scratch and has a small dent on passangers side (i was just getting use to the auto gearbox when i slipped of the brake peddel and the car ran in to a wall ). thanks dave

when they said in court about crushing the car they had no idea of condition the supra was in i think as long as they can still roll it on the transporter when they collect.

i got involved in a police chase they say dangerous i said i had the car under control well up till i ended up coming of a roundabout on 2 wheels lol. cant hand over ownership they said if they cant pick the car up i will be back in court still i was told as long as they can still get it on there transporter i can take what i want off it. i will get the police camera footage up on youtube soon.

the eyebrow flaps are they the bits that come up when you take the roof off ? roof line is gray. and the boot carpet is sold.
