  1. Would you sell the tailgate plastic seperately (as long as its in good condition, no scratches or anything)? Let me know how much if so
  2. What condition is the tailgate panel in? any scratches or anything?
  3. Guessing they are jspec discs? That is, assuming jspec and uk have different size discs which I think they do?
  4. Just had a little look...yeh you can definatly get some painted: http://www.brembo.com/ENG/AfterMarketBrakes/Products/ProductsPainted.htm https://www.ssfautoparts.com/public/promo/zimmerman/zimmerman_0408.asp Seems as though anti-corrosion coating might be becoming more standard having read this: http://news.thomasnet.com/fullstory/463760 Also, seen this spray paint...not sure if its very good though, would be pretty wary of it.... http://www.sonax.com/sonax-e/katalog_product.php?show_cat=18&show_product=446300
  5. I don't reckon thats the case as they are perfect all over, right from the outside right into the center, which the pad wont touch...thats generally the areas I'm on about
  6. Sorry a (very slight) thread hijack, but while we are on the topic - whenever I put new discs on they look great but very quickly get a rust sheen on them, however you see a lot of more modern cars with really exposed brakes and they have no rust at all, is this due to a better disc to being with or is the disc coated in something after purchasing?
  7. just removed my passenger belt, im pretty sure they will be different, I think they have a pendulum in to lock the belt when the car flips, just some info for anyone else...
  8. yeh well I was trying to talk all clever-like....
  9. Passenger seatbelt? As long as it feels really zippy..
  10. 60000th dibs on the driver side door card...nah, just kidding, I'm only 4th (I think) . I'd need it posting though, so if thats awfully troublesome then don't worry.
  11. Well, the MOT should pick up any issues I imagine, thats its purpose after all...I beleive they do tests to make sure the belt 'catches' correctly under load... From http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/Mot/DG_10016070: I reckon I'll fit them then, just today I was removing rear seats and trim to fit new boot struts and I though...bleedin heck, this takes enough time (though it would be quicker) so I thought I'd do the belt at the same time. I hate interior trim removal/refitting!
  12. Hi all, I'm going to soon replace the passenger side seatbelt, whether I do it myself or not is something I'm thinking about. I'm pretty confident doing general work, no troubles there, but being as seatbelts are so safety related - does anyone know whether or not these really should be left to a proper mechanic? I'm not sure if the belts have anything that is impertive to them working that an amateur like me would miss. It might just be the case all of those elements of the belt are done during manufacturing and mechanics know no more than I do (screw them in correctly!), in which case I may as well replace them. Have any other people replaced them? If so are you sure they are working, did you get them checked out by someone else before having someone sit in that seat? Just wanted to gather opinions cheers
  13. Haha, bringing this thread up from the past - I know exactly what you mean....I also lost several layers of skin doing that exact task...

    Eve online

Used to play it, loved it, just felt so atmospheric but took ages and was laggy.
  15. Ok I'l check and see and give you a buzz back on this thread.
  16. Maybe a source of purchasers when I sell mine then
  17. I havent a clue how much the glass normally goes for, so I'll offer what its worth to me (the scratches are small ) - £20 Just thinking though, I've never shipped glass, sounds like a death sentance, and I'm too far to pickup from you (thought you were closer, dunno why) so perhaps best to leave the glass, unless you know of anyone who has shipped it succesfully before....
  18. Couldnt find a supra stock engine bay pic on google...so i found a lexus, pic attached shows location of the bit I'm on about. How much for driver door glass? Also do you have a driver doorcard? cheers!
  19. Oh and if you have an air filter cover I wouldnt mind that, mine has broken clips.
  20. Got a driver doorcard? Not sure of the differences, but I have a 96 TT (facelift), my driver door card has a kindaof hole at the bottom... Also might be interested in driver side glass, if you have both, what would the price be? Cheers!
  21. Yeh tried that already, no joy Gonna have to get a new cable I think, no solution to it if its frayed. I checked the other door and no fraying at all.
  22. That sounds absolutely amazing! I want some!!!
  23. Would be good if the printer just printed on your arm...feed it in, you got a tattoo!
