  5. Thanks for the reply Martin,is it easy to get to the bulbs? as if there is a 'strong' chance of braking some thing, then i will put up with it. Al.
  6. .....3 of my climate control buttons do not illuminate at night. The A/C button & the next 2 buttons next to it.Do these buttons get illuminated by a single bulb? Every thing else illuminates fine.Al.

  8. Glad to know mines not the only one folks!!...just seems strange to get such a strong 'kick' from a N/A car...hell,i'm not complaining:) Al.
  9. With my N/A, when accelerating hard especially 1st & 2nd gear,i get good smooth power up to about 5000rpm, then i get a stronger surge:eek: bit like a power band? Is this what it is...does any other owner get this?.......just curious that's all. Al.
  10. Steve mine are black, not yellow, perhaps only the TT's get them. The service when they noted leakage was a main dealer Toyota garage:confused: Al.
  11. Yes mate as above,in one of my past services before i owned the car, it says o/s/front shock leaking.I believe the shocks are original,so this probably makes sense that they are 'kippered' Thanks for the other info Matt. Can anyone give me a rough price of the shocks??? Al.
  12. I believe the front shock is kippered on my Supra. When going over 'pot'holes or uneven road, the ride can be very'thumpy' especially on the o/s front. Is this a common fault on the MKiv? I've heard shocks last around 60K,and mine is on 87k(miles) How difficult are these to change as i have had a quick look, and have seen that the shock goes between a 'V' shaped componant, can't quite see how you would get it out. Also how much would a pair of shocks cost? Al.
  13. Cheers all..........oil change went fine.Took just under 5 litres. Al.
  14. ...........i'm doing an oil change sometime this week, just wondering how much oil i will need. How many litres does it take? Thanks in advance, Al.

I live in Liden, where are you? Maybe meet up some time as i don't see too many of these great cars around here.By any chance,is your name Clint. Al.

  22. I didn't buy my Supra N/A for speed, and sorry i didn't buy a real one:( I brought it cos i love the shape, and N/As aren't that slow, more like reasonable power. Seems like the old classic, i have an XR3i and others on here have an RS Turbo!! Didn't realise this was the Mkivsupra(TT) site. .................."i'll get me coat.":) Al.
  23. My 1993 jap spec, has had the speedo changed to MPH,but my odometer still reads in Kilometers which is rather annoying. Can i get this changed to show good old British Miles??? Al.
