  8. Ash, a friend of mine here in Swindon has an N/A sup with Nos.He rarely uses this board but is registered, maybe 'Supra with nos' would you believe!! I'll get him to give you a shout, as i'm sure he'll send you many pics under bonnet. Al.
  9. Interesting thread, sorry to hear of your problems, a nasty situation to be in. My only input would be, you asked why after the car had been sitting in the garage for 2 weeks after no previous problems, should this happen? Could it be that the thermostat had jammed shut, and you failed to notice the rise in temp? All sorts of problems can arise with a hot engine from leaking hoses/rads to the dreaded BHG problem? Al.
  10. ...I'll be going of course!!! can't wait.Hope to see some more of you lot there! Al.

  12. As said, use copper grease on the piston face and pads this will do the trick! Al.
  13. .....Andy G, that's my old Sup!! I've had that happen to me.It turned out to be the alarm pin on the slam panel, give it a good clean and all will be well!! Al.
  14. ?????.........back to the top for JJ.
  15. .....Hi oxy been following this thread with much interest.I really do hope you get your car back Sat.Hopefully it'll be loads better than ever before......shame about the costs though! Al.
  16. Adam, i tryed to help JJ in an earlier thread. As you have a MK3 T you might be the man to ask.I'd heard that the MK3 T manual 5 speed box was the same box as used on the n/a MK4 Supra,is this correct cos if so one could be found quite cheaply? Al.
  17. I'm sure someone will be along to answer this for you,in the mean time if i can find the article,i'll post it up for you.Al.
  18. .............i seem to remember that a Mk3 Supra Turbo, uses the same gearbox(manual) as an import N/A Supra?? If this is the case, you can buy one very cheaply indeed!!?? Al.
  19. No probs,if you need any further info drop me a PM.Al.
  20. ...No Scooter, i've not removed the standard lip, i've fitted the (non) active spoiler to that lip. This gives a 'deeper' appearance.Al.
  21. Try using Holts rubber and nylon lubricant,it's in a spray can which costs around £4 from most motor shops, this works a treat! Al.
  22. Hi Scooter, yes i done this to my Sup.(see pic) I removed every part of the active spoiler and retained just the rubber lip section.I then offered up the lip to the bumper and screwed this in place using screws with built in washers along with them metal clip thingies to take the screws, this ensures a good fix.Took me about half an hour.Al. P.S. In my 'humble' opinion, it's just not worth fitting all the mechanism, just to keep it in the down position.Plus think of all that extra weight for nothing, if you think mine looks crap, then it may well be worth fitting it all:p Al.
  23. .....around here, i've heard of people getting prosecuted for doing 43mph in a 40!! If this isn't blatant revenue raising i don't know what is. Al.
  24. Cheers guys, any more info? Al.
