  1. OK just fitted new Mania Vortex R’s with UK brakes. Clearance is 1mm. Bit worried this is dangerous. Is there a minimum clearance? Have got 10mm spacers but know this is frowned upon on a Supra. Advise and comments please! They Look awsome in 20's though!
  2. OK went to change the pads today and the near side caliper is leaking at the piston. Quick question, will the refurb kit sort this or do I need to replace the caliper?

  5. Thanks! The 20's just catch on he arches at the back, hence I want the raise, also the exhast system clears about 2.5 off the ground. Sorry to be stupid but how to I "push" my current springs on the damper?
  6. OK have currently Eibach Pro Kit Springs, but feel it's a bit low and want to be able to switch to 20's for show and 19/18 for other stuff. Question is Which one... I am quite happy with the current ride, Thoughts are.... Spring Rate F/R SuperStreet(M) QST60-BVSS3 560 336 FLEX DST60-6VSS1 784 448 MONO FLEX GST60-F1SS1 784 448 and would pay for the Flex tech but will the higher spring rating, even though it's adjustable, make the ride only for track should I just stick to the SuperStreet? Quite like my back in tact.

Right went in for MOT, seemingly the mid section of the HKS Super Dragger that is on there is pepered with holes and the back box is split....So found an off the shelf Greddy Extreme II from Mad Motors and got it send up to my garage. Am away at the moment so trying to sort this out over the phone. The Garage say that the exhast doesn't fit, the bends are all wrong for the car. Supplier is saying that he doen't understand why, that this is the exhaust for the car, there is even the odd youtube vid with that exhast on a supra. Mine has a full decat and heat wrap. It is a 99 VVTI model. The only thing I can think of is that the system changed around the VVTI or someone is telling me porky pies. Can anyone tell me if the Extreme system should fit? If there were any changes to the system around this time? Or point me in the direction of someone who can supply me with a correct system? Thanks

  11. Turned to boost controller off. Holding it around 4k on the revs is now sitting about 0.7 bar. Opened up to full throttle and peak boost is 1.12 bar. So would I be right in thinking it is down to a poorly configured boost controller and it is just a case of dropping the SET and GAIN till it is right?   12. Thanks guys, can you point me to any sellers for a 1 bar restrictor ring and NO there is no AFR fitted so again same as above. Will do what both of you said tomorrow and let you know the results. Thanks again!
  13. Need some advice please, before something bad happens. Have a 99 model TT tip with VVTi engine, Jap import, is BPU’ed. Greddy Fuel Cut Greddy Profec B spec II 'boost controller' JPS Full bore VVTI Downpipe and Mid pipe (all heat wrapped) Took it to a DAT inter. Day RR a few weeks ago just to see what is it could do and found out it was pushing just over 400bpu but also hitting 1.4 bar. I bought the car just under a year ago from a chap who seemed to know well more than me and have not touched the setup. Profec was set to psi and everyone talks bar so never really thought anything about it…….but now I do. Have changed to bar and started to pay attention. So If I steadily hold it up to around 3500 and keep an eye on the boost gauge we are hitting around 1.1 bar, soon as I push it up near 4000, bang we are up to 1.35 – 1.43 bar. First question…yip restrictor ring is in place, see attached. Below are controller settings, from what I have read though this has no bearing on max boost. SET – 69% GAIN – 35% SET GAIN – 0.34 WARNING -1.37 LIMITER – 20% PEAK – 1.44 LAST BOOST – ON So what do I do?? ECU is stock I know the car has uk brakes, not sure about the injectors or the turbo’s, can you let me know how to tell? HELP….HELP….HELP it’s nice and I wanna keep it that way!
