I've got a JDL front and JDL skirts on mine. I think you'd need some skirts (though not necessarily JDL) to match the lines, otherwise the bumper alone might look like it sits very low compared to the sides of the car.

+1 for the CW setup+geo here too. Transformed the handling of my car, and gives a much better ride than when it was lowered (it was on awful gmax lowering springs beforehand).

I'm after facelift front indicator bulb holders with the wiring if anyone has any? Cheers, Matt.

Damn, the only time I'm likely to get the wife to agree to me having two Supras is when she's been drinking ;-)
-
So is it for sale or not? I'll buy it. I'm in The White Horse if Matt wants a quick sale :-). I'm also called Matt so it'll be easy to keep referring to it as Matt's :-)

Red with White flash decals, in Leamington right now. Looking good :-)

Driving down the parade about 7-ish last night. Looked nice and clean!

Yeah, that and my tramlining 19s make the country lanes a joy to drive on

Mine's always been an absolute nightmare but never thought to actually measure the clearance. Checked it today while I was out washing the car and it's 2.5 inches! The bumper has surface cracks in a few places. The car sits too low anyway and a suspension refresh / more sensible ride height is next on the list. Here's a pic taken with the camera sat on the ground

Mine's my daily driver, though that's only 12 miles a day.

I've got Gmax lowering springs and Bilstein Yellow shocks and my car sits far too low. I scrape the underneath of the front bumper (JDL) a lot, can't go near a speed bump or certain bumpy roads, and I had to find a garage with a completely flat drive-on lift for the MOT as the first place I tried damaged the front bumper trying to get it on the ramp. Replacing this setup with HSDs or a Chris Wilson setup is next on my list, so I'd say avoid the Gmax springs.

Not used evo stick yet as I was keen to see what they looked like, I'll stick them down properly at weekend so I don't kick them under the seats
-
Received mine today - they're excellent, cheers! Just need to get them dirty now to match the mats Couple of pics taken in what's left of the light this evening attached. Thanks, Matt.

Also spotted this today, same place. So it wasn't me, either. (Plus I can't go up Queensway thanks to the speed bumps )

Yesterday about lunch time: silver stock-ish, Bury Road heading into Bolton, and another with a small wing parked up a side street just off Bury Road. Also another silver with black wheels this morning following my wife's blue Clio on the M60 for a couple of mins. Anyone here?

Race Pro - Xbox 360, worth looking if you like Forza
cravo replied to Whitesupraboy2's topic in Off Topic
'Was' as in I'm not working on GRID now. I'm still at Codies and I take the car in every day (I get to work about 8am and work til at least 6pm, so you won't see me if you head that way at 'regular' hours ) I'm Lead Programmer on DiRT2. Definitely can't say any more than that -

Well, I can't say too much - trade secrets and all that. I was on the programming side of things, running the gameplay team. The replay system was one of my biggest contributions to the game. Probably took about 18 months to develop (code-wise - art tends to start earlier) Team size was about 30 programmers, all in-house. Add in the art teams, designers, QA, production etc. and it's well over 100. It's all hard work but massively rewarding and great fun too! -

I've been playing Race Pro a bit and it's not great. The engine sounds are poor. This doesn't matter too much as you have to turn them down a *lot* to hear the surface sounds in order to know if you're on the edge of the grip. Even with all the driving assists off the handling feels odd, snapping back to centre when it really shouldn't - as if there's still some kind of steering assist going on. Really disappointing after the GTR games on PC. They've managed to accurately re-create the dodgy collision physics from the PC series though I'd be *very* interested to hear reasons why people didn't like the GRID demo compared to the full version though (feel free to PM if you don't want to take this thread too far off topic). Glad people have enjoyed the game though -
Nice purple Supe followed me from the outskirts of Leamington Spa to the roundabout on the Fosse Way this morning. Didn't catch the plate but it was offset to one side. Anyone on here? Just when I was getting used to driving such a unique car this is the third Supra I've spotted in the area in the last month!

Silver, kitted, about 7:45am today in Ufton heading towards Leamington Spa. Only caught a brief glimpse as I was keeping an eye on the bloke behind me driving up my backside, so didn't get time to flash or wave. I wasn't in mine (it was slippery enough getting the Clio out this morning)
-
Yeah, I'm in Leamington - I don't take the car into town though (other than to the Shell garage) as it can't get over the speed bumps on the Parade without scraping the front bumper
-
Black wheels, N281 *** (I think) Saw you a couple of times yesterday as you drove round the block while I was walking through town.
