  1. Your 21? Im 21 with a N/A, admiral quoted me £1200.00 and i only took out the insurance 2 weeks ago. I also have 3 years no claims GRRR! Good quote.
  2. No i didnt clean it with degreaser, thats the first i herd of that. Ill do that next time. I may be being slow, can you just clarify what you mean by interior paint?

I just bought a N/A my first Supra. Am loving it to bits. Supras are ace you gotta get one
  4. Ive never fitted mesh before and i did mine last week with ease. Its very straight forward mate
  5. your comments will be passed on to him!
  6. no primer at all! Wish that would work for me!
  7. Cool, ill tell him no more then 3.5k then.
  8. I havent seen it either. Ive been told its a Pedator body kit, black in colour. With normal looking (nouthing amazing) alloys 19inch i think. I dont have any pictures to show. Just my friends looking to bid for it at an auction and just wanted a rough estimate what you lot would pay for it?
  9. Enquiry for a friend! He is looking at a n/a 3.0 litre Supra with a full Predator bodykit and 19inch alloy wheels. It has over 90,000 miles on the clock, and is in excellent condition. Auto Gearbox 1994 model i think. What is that car worth in your eyes?

Welcome to the site. What makes you want a n/a over a tt then?
  11. Yeah this way sounds best, financially as well. Right time to start saving to put this into practice. Thanks for your input guys. Btw Miko_supra where are you from in buckinghamshire? Ive got a flat in aylesbury and am up that way 50% of my life!
  12. I think i can see where i was going wrong now. I dont think i have applied enough coats. I only did one coat of primer and one coat of paint followed by one coat of laquor. Ill re do it spending a bit more time and a few more coats of each and fingers crossed this time it should work out better. Thanks to everyone for there input
  13. Cars in garage atm, once its back ill take some
  14. Yep did that! Would it of made a difference that the day i painted it on it was quite windy? Could that of afected the coat?
  15. You bought it all threw ebay? Fitted it yourself? How much did that cost you?
  16. So you bought the tt engine for 2.5k? Then fitted it yourself correct?
  17. Yes i did to the best of my ability. I speant ages sanding etc. It just seemed if i was to catch the dash with a nail or my keys it would scratch immediately and/or chip away Ive obviously done something wrong somewhere im juts trying to establish what
  18. Understand. So unless i am willing to pay 3k+ the only other real option is to sell up and buy a tt. That leaves me with plenty of thinking to do...
  19. Sounds exspensive. Is there no cheaper ways? Can you buy reconditioned turbo's or is that a big risk?
  20. Sorry my error there, i did use plastic primer.
  21. I currently have a auto n/a aerotop supra. I would like to fit a turbo to it. I know nouthing about turbo's as i have never had a car with any turbo's before. Is it to go for twin turbo or single turbo? Any turbo's you reccommend? I know you can spend a fortune on turbos but for a failry decent turbo how much would it cost and how much would a garage charge to fit it? I no nouthing at all when it comes to turbo's so any info will help.
  22. Brilliant write up. You should be proud of that. Awesome car!
  23. I did a wet and dry rub down. Then put silver primer on it. Sanded down wet and dry again any marks thats left followed by a coat of halfords silver dash paint. Finnally followed by Lacquer. I then left it 24 hours before i touched it to allow it all to harden and the paint chipped away and scratched very easy. Just checking i have done all that coorect havent i? I havent missed anything?
