Thats what has put me off, but was unsure if i was making a big deal over nothing?.... can he prove he has this hpi check is there not a writted form or anything? he seems to think he has one and its al fine....

From what i gather it was recovered by police, maybe daft question but surely they would check car that all was correct and matched??

Haha good one. we made an offer 400 lower than asking price and he accepted straight away, then done check, he has emailed a few times seems desperate to sell.... hmmmm decisions!

Hey look its bad enough that i had to sell the supra and resorting to buying a dinky toy!.. The c2 is the only one i have seen that looks half way decent:p We used the text service advertised on tv, but the dealer that has the car said he done a full £40 hpi and it came back clear... kinda put me off and that its silver!... not sure if i should be overly worried or not

You don't want to go for the new shape type R when they are 2.5k more than the old shape was when it was new! you get zero increase in hp and a torsion bar instead of independant wishbone suspension, which gives better handling and loads more fun! You could go for a late old shape and supercharge it gives you 300bhp and you have plenty of cash left in your pocket.( or for gf to put in her pocket lol )........Or is it a brand new car thats a must?? -

Gutted for you steve as i said i soooo wanted you to have it, you had the enthusiasm i had for it, I hung out as much as i could for you, bloody insurance co's can be a nightmare it seems most of the time!

Oh dear tony had exactly that couple months ago its fooked!!... if your lucky enough and is under 12months nokia repair it for free, takes upto 28 days tho, they replaced all the internals on his,

Thanks todd, it just comes up with blank screen like its going to load but can't... i've set the wifi up and its ticked that its connected but thats as far as it goes, wont detect bluetooth either Out of curiousity when i done the redsnow thing you get to a point where it says make sure cydia and unlock are ticked... well i had an extra box there that said ICY i think, i didn't click it as it wasn't on the guide screen????
