  1. As for Martin F !!!!!! Taken only this year from Branners Dung????? Errr Cellar
  2. Things changed when we discovered Branners secret !!! Matt Harwood and Mig have never been the same
  3. Did you look into the auto box to see roughly where the 2 tangs were that line up with the converter?
  4. Im afraid theres a good chance the pump is now fubarred:(
  5. Dude, this is quite important, EXACTLY how did you fit the coneverter into the box ????
  6. Ahhhhhh the good times !!!! I remember when !!!!!!!!!!!
  7. dude

    Dudes winter sale

Dude the box will prob weigh more than the contents !!!
  8. In case some of you guys dont get into the For Sale section I have a few group buys going on, theres some carbon fibre items and some stainless FMIC covers, got a few more carbon items in the pipeline and if any members fancy a deal on a bulk buy just PM, hell you may end up with a bigger bargain than you think. Should have a few more Carbon items in the next month like windscreen panels and fuse box covers and even thinking of a dash (but these will be special order only) prices will be competitive with provisional ones of £200 for screen panels and £90 for fuse box, timing covers coming soon as well.
  9. It will be 3 or 4 !!! Its quite important !!!
  10. Theres no such thing as a set RPM a stall converter will stall at! It depends on the weight of the car and the torque it produces, you need to get Ryan to make as much boost as poss on the launch control, remember whatever you save off the line is X by 3 on the run, so if you shave a 1/3 sec off you 60ft thats almost 1 sec off the total time. as for a fair bit the SAFC altered fueling at only 6 points for a relatively broad band and the ITC chucked a bit of timing in !!! How many shifts was the run you did ??? - - - Updated - - - Nippy wasnt it !!!
  11. I had 272 cams a 67 P trim precision turbo, BL turbo kit, BL box with 4200 rpm converter an apexi SAFC and ITC running 2 bar boost.
  12. You wont get a quicker time with a TRD diff, all my 10's were run on a stock J spec Torsen diff, the 15's will help but again all my 10's were run on 17's with drag radials, best thing you can do is get some DR's of some sort and a line lock to do a proper burnout and make sure the launch control is set to give as much boost as possible.
  13. Getting outs always been my problem;) Always seem to be in rooms with no key on the inside:innocent:
  14. Yeah Ill stick it on the ramp and you can do it !!!
  15. I can do you a full 4 wheel alignment for £75 provided we dont have to unseize anything.
  16. I think the clue may be in his other thread asking what pressure to run in R888's
  17. If anyone wants performance figures for their car Im quite happy to run them with a Vbox you will get 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, 0-6-, 0-30, 0-100 etc etc these are GPS verified so very accurate.
  18. If you run say 25psi and do a burnout then the pressure will prob be back up to 32-35 for the run, if no burnout then normal pressure, my 17" drag radials we ran below 20 psi for all the 10 sec runs
  19. Cant dude, we are at the pod for the flame and thunder as Ive been asked to arrange some super cars to do demo runs up and down the strip, got some Lambos a ferrari a masseratti, De Tomaso etc going so cant shut 2 saturdays in a row and the 996 is dead or I would pop up.
  20. Gives rain till lunchtime on my racing weather forecast thingy we use then brightening up.
  21. Next thing you will tell me Amish Mafia is not real and that Santa does not exist LOL BTW going to book a trackday soon, prob at Brands, got one booked at goodwood as well.
  22. There has to be a certain amount of editing but the races will be real and i would think the cops turning up are real, I know guys in the states that do this and it has happened for years and will carry on happening, they havent quite got to the big brother attitude we have let the government impose on us yet, hence they still carry firearms etc also they have far more access to roads that are suitable, ie away from people and straight and long enough to be safe, if you go to the ace cafe on the right night at the right time you too can race for anything to £100 to log books, I used to race my 10 sec Zodiac just like you see in the programme and guess what it used to go on a trailer if more than 20-30 miles away cause it ran on slicks and open headers. As for Farmtruck hes like the guy with the NA among a sea of TT's he gets tolerated but prob mocked when hes not there !!!!
  23. Why do you say its fixed, out of all the 'reality' programmes I would say its the least fixed, the only thing that does not ring true is the amount of money they race for, no way would it only be $500, more like a minimum of $5000, no doubt the cars are real and being used on the street with no plates etc. there is underground street racing everywhere even in the uK but in the US its BIG BIG $$$$
  24. I liked the Murder Nova vs the blue chevy, I reckon a well sorted 35 would clean up at some illegal street races because of the way it would put the power down, lots of difference street to drag strip grip wise as you know.
