My kids have bought me a trip to Silvestone this July as a birthday present,never been to a F1 race before,any tips or advice for attending this.Tickets are for Becketts platinum grandstand.

When I bought my Nissan Leaf as a daily I intended to buy another sports car after selling my 370z,i now find myself with a increasing aversion to going back to paying for fuel !Mind you once they get enough of us in electrics charges for these will also rise.

I agree with most of the comments,too many people,speed cameras,people crawling along afraid to overtake no matter how long the straight is creating wagon trains,i do take issue about the oldies comments however.Don't know what age you have to be to qualify but no doubt at nearly 70 i'm on the radar.My last track day at the end of last year, involved a Hurracan and a McLaren which I took great pleasure in roasting,i grew up with RS fords 3litre Capri's and Dolomite sprints before you young whippersnappers were born:D so just remember Oldies are not all the same:cool: -

I fear Hamilton will be unstoppable,hoping for some kind of contest but unless Verstappen was in the other Merc don't think we will get one.Hope i'm wrong:)
