    5 more years

The trouble is, any government that is in power never have anyone qualified to make decisions about anything hence every brilliant idea soon becomes a total shambles, and guess who pays for it all .
  6. I suppose like any of us he can quit his job if he wants,Red Bull should then give his seat to Alonso, that would be a hoot !
  7. I'm afraid if Perez wants to win he will have to beat Verstappen. He asked Red Bull to hire him but on many occasions hasn't delivered, simple as that.
  8. As per origional question,if i could afford to move i would,it rains non stop up here should have moved years ago irrespective of the state of the country!
  9. I'm on Economy 7 all electric and have some heating on,however my night rate hasn't gone up that much but day rate is crazy at over 44p a unit so making an effort not to use much during the day,NO Oven
  10. I know it would jarr my teeth over every bump and pothole, but just look at it,if i had the cash i would have it
  11. Up north its getting a bit chilly but no central heating on yet.I come from a generation who had coal fire in living room and that was it,bath night was sunday and during the week stand in the kitchen deep sink for my mother to scrub my legs but i have become a bit soft as i got older I think a lot of folks dont understand that the the £2,500 cap isn't a cap on your total useage but a cap on your unit rate.Have to wait and see how long i can resist the heating urge !!
  12. Wouldn't be able to sleep at night, but each to his own
  13. Regarding the cost cap rumours i think the F.I.A have already set a precedent by not disclosing (as far as i'm aware) the deal done with Ferrari regarding their super engine performance that quietly disappeared a while back,so i think prudence is required.
  14. Lewis said after race that he was glad there was no restart as he thought he would have lost places ,however not very exiting for fans !
  15. Yes come down here too,oil price continues to fall (for now)
  16. Super Unleaded £1.96 a litre in West of Scotland today, anyone paying a higher price ?
  17. If it's as exiting as last year i'm in
  18. Thanks for that ,very interesting and very clearly explained !
  19. As a member over 70 i can tell you i would take a vaccine even if they had to stick it up my jacksy.I have found once over 70 you are all to aware of your mortality.
  20. I mitigated the cost by having an owned battery and buying second hand and at that time public chargers in Scotland were free,so basicly i had 3years with no fuel cost and no road tax. When i traded the car in depreciation was'nt any worse than regular car.
  21. That looks great, would imagine it would be reliable too.
  22. I bought a secondhand Nissan Leaf and kept it for 3 years put tyres and wiper blades on that was it .I used it mostly for nursery and school runs and round the town it simply could not be beat.Great to drive and very quiet and comfortable.I had done a lot of research before taking the plunge so was well aware of the range issues in cold weather and where to do the charging,as i live in terraced housing.Because i live in a rural area i had to run another car for long trips (350z)but if i could get an electric with around 350 (genuine) mile range i would have another.
  23. Seen the day selling a silver Supra would be an effort, not so much now i would think.Love the Jade R's on Supra's,yes i had one.
