Im loving the stock front with a lip/spolier at the moment but im debating whether it would suit my car. I need to get my do-luck front touched up and resprayed so will cost around £300 to do all the work. so ideally I want to either repair my front or swap for a new look. HAHA .. had to get the angle grinder out in the end , Only took off the bit that had snapped as it was really dangerous hanging around loose under the car like that. Will be ordering the whole set front and rear tomorrow. Does anybody know the part number for MK3 rear drop links as i already have the part numbers for the MK4 front and rears but would love to save some cash.

I said if i couldnt get the drop links off then i would leave the job for when i get new ones during the next week or so. Good news to hear driving without a functional arb want be too bad, thanks dnk

I wont be replacing the drop links tomorrow as i just want to get this fitted as its a semi serious item that has snapped .. If i want get the drop links out then i will leave it for when i have new ones. Anyone know how much they are from Mr.T ? Full set .

Bit of a thread revival but Im planning on fitting my titan bars tomorrow as my rear stock one has snapped. How easy/hard are these to replace ? I know.how to use a spanner etc

Id be up for April too.. Should have my new single up and running by then But whatever happens i will be getting to alot more meets etc this year for sure.

Seems I have alot of thinking and debating to do with myself. Soo many factors in getting better grip and being able to put the power down its mind boggling. thanks so far boys been super as usual.

HAHA I honestly have no idea about tyre stretching etc but i Pretty much just followed on from what the previous owner had put on, As it was all ok i thought why change something that isnt broke You saying that maybe a 275/30 Falken 452 might be a good bet ? im not too bothered about price of tyres so long as it doesnt protrude into the £250 a tyre mark lol

I know you had some trouble with Arch enemy who done your arches before your custom work done but what kinda price did you pay for just the rears to be rolled ? I would much prefer to go bigger tyre and arch roll than a new wheel altogether

hmmm .. So would 285's be better J ? and would they fit without rubbing ? I Really dont want to go spending big bucks on wheels but then again I do love Rota wheels

Afternoon all So in the new year around Jan/Feb time my car is going in to SRD for its single conversion .. am hoping for anywhere between 600-700 BHP. My current dilemma is tyres and wheels , Im running 265/30/19 avon ZZ3's on my 19" 10J rears which are great tyres considering their price, Now i know 19" are not the greatest for going single and i understand this completely but i love my Jade R's to bits and would find it hard to part with them unless i had a swap or serious offer. Im prettys sure If i stayed with my current wheels and tyres .. I will be slipping and lighting up the rears in every gear . So my question to you Folk is.. If i stay with my current wheels but went for a slightly chunkier profile tyre for example 265/35/19 .. would i see any benefit on grip or is it a simple case of any 19" wheel will be pants grip ? Any advice is hugely welcomed

I have a Dragger with my Trial rear.. sits nicely in the cut out of the bumper and sounds superb on WOT

So long as your suspension is not lowered silly amounts then should be fine

You know it !! would only use lee or Austec as i find them both extremely helpful in there own ways. Will be using lee for my single build in January/ February Cant wait

I would feel super awkward telling lee how long he should have my car and price range etc .. surely it is what it is ? , i understand about budgets and parts but what happens if you hit a problem halfway through that will use all your allocated funds ? .. does that then leave the said garage with a half done car until you raise funds ? Not sure how lee calculates it all or whether he does a payment plan .. monthly instalments would be awesome
