hey guys as you may of read my thread the other day about the ticking noise from the front drivers side. well i took the wheel off today and whilst checking the pads found they were pretty low and also a strange bumping noise when i spun the disc round and happened just as the groove past the pad, (if you get me) the guy before me changed the discs to drilled and grooved. i measured the disc and to me they look a bit too big, they measured 32mm width and the pads rub quite alot on the disc even in neutral. is this normal or should i think about getting some new discs aswell as pads ? thanks for any help

hey guys just a quiky question as im panicking a bit. lol basically i know i need new pads and maybe discs on all wheels but when driving slowly or more at a speedy pace i noticed a rubbing noise which was almost like metal on metal then when i braked i get vibrations through pedal and steering wheel. now after 3 days of having this , the metal rubbing noise has gone but now there is a tiking noise from the dirvers side wheel. could all this be down to pads ? thanks for any help

nice, but is it just affect or actual carbon fibre as to me it sounds like effect. hes just trying to rape someones pocket at that price. its probably just the stick on stuff u get from halfrauds lol

hey guys and girls Been wondering if anybody anywhere sells the facelift rear side markers that come in red as standard.i did use the search button but could only find front markers etc would it be illegal if I changed them to clear ones and if anybody has or did have some then please let me know where to get them. oh they are the ones with the screws either side (if you didnt know) but im sure you did lol cheers for any help at all.

ahh see i did think that but by the looks of them there brand new no rust on them or any dents etc but yess that could be it. by the way how much is it for the uk brake set up ? will have about 300 to 400 to spend .

Hey guys Im sorry if this has been covered before but like everyone will say, were all in different situations some how lol Basically the guy before me changed the brake discs to drilled and grooved and its really juddery when braking from 50mph or 90mph to a slower speed and then still when lifting off. ? I think the pads need changing as they look about just under half way through but other than that i cant really work out why its doing it . oh my car is a 1997 jspec TT with 19" jade r wheels. any help would be amazing thanks

ahh cheers guys , all the comments are just adding to my superior day !! and yer iv done some searching and gunna go pick up one soon from toyota . anybody got a part number ? i would like a stock bonnet but thats to come as im skint , i bought it for its mileage and running power etc i love the looks but need tweeking a bit. hope to be seeing you all soon at certain upcoming events. thanks guys

lol yer im not sure on the bonnet ?! i wasnt really sure about the front, id like to change it and get a top secret or back to standard with front lip. yer it hasnt been cleaned in a while so sorry in advance about dirty sup lol will be doing alot of cleaning etc tomoz as im off work all day.

hey guys just thought id upload pics of my supra , picked it up today and its my 21st birthday !! what a day ey !? Its a 3ltr TT Auto (no laughing no ) 1997 facelift 351 bhp 19" jade r's samco pipes etc FMIC and full stainless steel exhaust system i love it to bits and the drive home was awesome !! soo glad its finally mine. any comments welcome (prefrably good ones lol)

hey guys just thought id let you all know i purchased my a Auto TT supra today 60k miles etc etc, dint have any pics yet but pikin it up on friday so will post them up a.s.a.p . oh and 1 more thing is it normal if u have a dump valve fitted that when ur acelarating (spelt wrong i know lol) that theres a little whistle noise , is this the turbos spooling up ? cheers guys and hope to see you all soon !!

id keep it and wait a bit longer for things to settle down , supras just arent selling and if they are selling its for a stupidly low price, wait a bit and get what its really worth. 7-9k
