  1. So bleeding fluid through the system would require me taking each wheel off one by one and doing it that way ?
  2. I will get the brakes checked then ring him if i need anything, cheers for that info dude. Also, im only going to be doing the front calipers, so as i will be draining some of the brake fluid from them i have a set of do-luck braided hoses do you think it would be ok to put them on the fronts but not the rears untill i can get time to do them ? wont cause any harm will it ? cheers again
  3. i will wait for pics then see if its still available PM me a price your looking for as iv always wanted a blitz nurspec. lee

  5. ill start you at £10 jokes Just to clarify is it from a N/A or TT ? im thinking N/A because if so it means i cant have it
  6. right oh iv got ya now, just as i thought, i think i broke one of those off whilst changing the pads last year didnt think muchof it but now i know why i have a seized caliper then !! dumb ass !!
  7. outer seals ?? is that rubber ring that the piston sits in ? Not to sure on the names of things but if you describe it well then i have no problems changing/identifying the part
  8. good to hear. i will have a butchers tomorrow afternoon and see what i can do if you can PM me an update after you done your refurb to see if its cured it, that be great. im still going to refurb even if it doesnt cure it

  10. yer i just saw that in his signature does anybody know of any trusted brake disc companys on ebay ? iv heard something about G3 ?? been looking just now and for a set of 2 fronts is around £100 so not too bad. going to pop into toyota tomorrow and find out a price for the refurb kits for jspec fronts. then go from there i think, found a kit on ebay for £30 for front 2 calipers. might be worth a try if toyota are silly money. cheers for the help guys
  11. Hey dude I was pretty sure new calipers would cost well over £70 ish, Is that direct from toyota dealership ? if so then i think i might buy into some new calipers, with the caliper you dont just get the housing do you ? i take it you get the full bundle including piston's, rubber seals etc so ready to go. cheers bud
  12. indeed i will, iv heard hes the man to talk to about this sort of thing. ill drop him a PM and go from there. thanks for the help/advice nevins ... top bloke.
  13. Can chingy not complain about this ?? i thought you have to get permision to use somebosy else car for advertising rights ? due to them making money from chingys BEAUTIFUL beast of a supra
  14. ahhh so not as "bank busting" as i thought. will get into toyota tomorrow and have order 2 sets. another question regarding brakes... do you think some new standard jspec front disks would cure the vibrating ? iv never liked the sound of D & G disks seem very clumpy to me. any prices on the disks ? rougly ? cheers again
  15. Sorry about the lack of updates, it is sold and has been sent and recieved so completely gone now boys. sorry
  16. well i have changed my brake pads on all my recent cars and have changed the pads on this one too so im pretty sure im able to do it myself (hopefully) do we know how much a caliper refurb kit is from Mr T ? probably going to cost me an arm and leg right ? any pridyct numbers or is it a case of going in and asking the parts department ? cheers fella's
  17. hey guys I think my front drivers side caliper is sticking and possibly my passenger side aswell after driving home via the dual carridge way my steering wheel started to judder quite badly then whilst slowing down and applying the brake it went crazy with the juddering, felt like i had turned on a massager on my right foot. its happened a few times lately and i thought it was due to balancing issues. I got home that night and felt the alloy wheel and it was almost too hot to touch and there was a horrid smell from the disc like i had just done 100 laps of the nurbergring. From visualy inspecting the pads iv got loads of pad lleft so cant be down to low pads, i have some crappy make of Drilled and grooved disks which where on the car when i bought it a year ago. is it time to change the disks ? the other front wheel was warm but nowhere near as hot as the other one. what shall i do ?? any suggestions on how to refurb a sticky caliper ?? cheers lee
  18. Whether its to any ones taste i dont know, but i cant stop listening to a bit of lynard skynard - Freebird on the way to work, that awesome break down into the start of the mega solo where everything speeds up, really gets me smiling
  19. hey guys, Just thought id let you all in on something i used today for getting that black crap off your exhaust also found it worked AMAZINGLY on my alloys which had some tar, grease and all kinds of wear and tear. Got everything off and has returned my Jade R's to pretty much new ( apart from the curbing ) got it from here and turned up in less than 48 hours http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MEGUIARS-nxt-Generation-Exhaust-Engine-Bay-Metal-Polish_W0QQitemZ370353111844QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item563ac40324#ht_1686wt_1165 pretty much the best cleaning product i have ever used on my car. Before you say it ... No i dont work for/ sell this product. lee
  20. hey dude got your PM cheers for that but money is super tight at the moment so i will be buying in late june hopefully, can i take the boost gauge though hopefully that will work as mines a crappy ebay one also do you know what colour the backlighting is on that gauge or does anybody know ? cheers lee
  21. Nice to know. Just properly inspected them outside in the sunshine and to be honest there not as bad as i stated, a few curb marks here and there but nothing mega. need a really good deep clean and they should be lovely
  22. Right i think iv made my decision I will go for a new set of 18" Jade R's then lower with springs at a latter date. only thing thats putting me off buying new wheels is that i have no idea about offsets and sizes etc for example all the wheel websites im looking at apear to have the wheel in one size only, i mean theres no option to have wider rears than the fronts. if you follow me. So im being putoff by the different sizes. any body that can help explain this stuff and maybe refer me to a website that is good for that sort of thing would be great. hopefully i will sell my existing 19" jade R's on here for someone to refurb lee
  23. WOW never thought about that, great little gizmo but doesnt really have a big choice of wheels, still good to get an idea though. thanks dude
  24. Good point, but im afraid if i sell them in the current state there in i will be lucky to get a good amount for them. how much do you think i should be looking at selling them for ? probably be putting them on the site, if i decide to sell Do you boys have any ideas of "affordable" alloys that look good on the supra ? just trying to get ideas for the future. cheers for the comments aswell .
  25. Just ordered a new RR from whifbitz so hoping that will bring my boost down to under 1.2 bar as im currently boosting at 1.4-1.5 fingers crossed.
