  1. right !!! i have pretty much tried my hardest , both wheels are off ground both wheels are off , has a tiny bit more leverage but i just cant seem to slide it over the lower wishbone, is there anything i should be loosening etc ... apart from the wishbone which i just cant be dealing with the hassle of takin it off ill givbe you a run by on what i have done so far: taken wheels off taken strut brace off from under the bonnet and done bolts back up x3 car on axle stands ( on the chassis ) Taken out the bottom bolt that goes through the bottom of the shock, and now im stuck.... tried taking the top bolts off to allow more play bit it just slides into the holes and jams it ... GRRR
  2. really ?? see this is why this club is soo good , never would of thought of that, was trying to do one at time anything else i should know ?
  3. Hey guys Im pretty handy with the spanners and for the life of me couldnt get the shock and spring off my sup this morning, was planning on changing all 4 today but thats really not going to happen. Has anybody got a guide or can give me a step by step ? i dont really want to undo the upper wishbone due to the bolt being huge (iv heard). i couldnt seem to find any way of applying leverage etc so the shock would pop out. Any hope would be awesome
  4. I might just of died inside a little bit ........... AWFUL
  5. Well played good sir must be chuffed with the result ( i know id be )
  6. Very nice dude , as said.. one of the nicest sup's iv seen in a while
  7. No i didnt want to paint it, just thought it might stick out a bit, as in... when you look at the car the first thing that catches your eye is the new panel... id definatley be up for grabbing one. you have my vote for GB
  8. hey guys as per the title really, any of you peeps in/around west sussex know of any good alloy wheel refurbishment places ? looking to get mine down at the end of the month and im yet to find any "good" reputable places. its my daily drive so cant be sendning the rims anywhere.. cheers guys
  9. mmmm seem to be in two minds... Positive: it looks new and modern and a better shape and surface than the original. Negative: ( maybe) is it going to stick out like a sore thumb ?? i mean with something so shiney and new will it look "out of place" so to speak. would like to see it on A/Your sup before i decide but i must admit it is very tempting.. defo GB.
  10. That thought did cross my mind at some stage..... but then i had driven for around 30 mins... turned into my road and then heard and Felt the small thumping. Theres a few pot holes which i canot avoid due to them being the size of the UK so it could of easily sat in there at the required angle for some mug ( ME ) to come along and quite sadly pick it up. All has been sorted now and my wallet has been emptied of all the birthday funds
  11. Indeed, im glad it didnt. To me it looks like a bolt catch or something like a bolt that slides through 2 holes to secure something ?? its completely blunt on the small rounded end so it had to of been in the perfect position to go straight through my tyre.... Bad luck is all i say....
  12. Got This on my Birthday...... to say i was pissed off would be an understatement Luckily i (obviously) felt there was something wrong as soon as i drove over it.
  13. Cheers dude. Will have a drink on you. Hehe

  15. I bought a set from knightracer a few weeks ago and they are a good fit but had to adjust the drill holes a few MM's either side.
  16. interested ... is it 52 or 60 mm ? im going to assume its a 60mm ..
  17. When we say expensive.... just how much are we talking ? ballpark figure ? I remember seeing somewhere that dude did a full 6spd conversion for just shy of 4k, not sure if it was 6spd or not but must of been for almost 4k...
  18. Yes.. really like those dares would go nicely with your kit and colour
  19. ALOT better IMHO than your previous suggestions jamesy. Hows the build coming along ? bet you just cant wait to get behind the wheel with silly amounts of BHP
  20. All fixed now with a new wiper rather strange but hey ho.
  21. Id also be interested , the thought of converting is always on my mind
  22. Hey guys Probably a simple fix but i cant for the life of me figure it out. Im going to try a new wiper tommorrow and see what happens but... Today i installed a new set of wiper arms and used my previous wipers which had no problems, they are aligned ok and i cant see anything wrong visualy but when i turn them on the drivers side metal wind plate infront of the wiper hits the window when it stops near the top left (then goes back down fine) it does it all the time and never used to do it with my old wiper arms, do we think its new wiper time? i just dont understand how changing the arm could make it do that. any help would be great lee
