Hi mate, I actually didn’t but did wonder what it was on the rear. That explains it! hope you didn’t mind me posting pics. Yeha mine is the white one, we’ve hit a bit of a big problem with the engine build I had done by James hart, but luckily dc will be fixing it mate.

Wehey there he is. I had a good look around it mate. I liked the car! hope dc looked after you, they are a great set of lads and have mine, you probably see it there.

Everything is now tight. gasket ordered, should just be a case of changing the head gasket, flushing and cleaning the coolant out and attempting the start up again providing they don’t find anything else. HG was fitted back to front and upside down. Big job at this stage and not cheap but it has to be done or the car will just be dormant

Well after getting the car to point where she was ready to prime and start, it was noticed engine mounts were loose and suspension bolts loose. Then, Checked coolant pressure and there was none. coolant pissed out of my oil drain and filter location. Been found that my head gasket was put on back to front by James hart when he built the engine.

9pm at night and your mechanic messages to say doing all I can so we can fire her up tomorrow. That’s dedication!

Thanks rider, Just ordered the fluidampr 840801. Had to be done!

Yes but isn’t it 7.5k stock rpm limiter? I wasn’t really sure what to do? Any recommendations to one that is safe and won’t affect the crank?
-
Something I haven’t bought yet as I’m unsure if to go with a new stock one or get aftermarket? Although I hear some including the ati v2 requires honing to fit? Running 860bhp and Max 8000rpm or there abouts what is the safest best option to dampen the crank etc.

Agh sweet mate. Just wondered how it was going. Mine has just gone in pre the engine run in. So I’ll update how it feels compared to the current royal purple, I didn’t rate the royal purple to be honest

Are you now running this mate? How you finding it?

Looks for recommendations for a geometry calibration since my car has had a underbody restoration and I want a good street setup. I would use wheels-inmotion based in Chesham where it was done before, but I have since moved so need a Hampshire based company! Any recommendations would be great!

Thanks, yeah should work very well for what I need. Got a new engine oil cooler coming also as the mocal one was damaged at previous mechanics! Dropping off running oil and fuel tomorrow so it’s just around the corner to running in on the dyno!

Lovely colour indeed -
Yeah it’s massive. Should get some good cooling with that! Hopefully it’ll just plumb straight in mate, might need a 90 degree elbow for the single turbo outlet though. I’ll get some Pics up when done!

Couple of pics from today. Finishing off the final snag list! Fuelling finished, turbo side finished, intercooler fitted today! Fuel going in by the end of the week! oil, fuel and leak pressure checks! Using millers running in oil to begin, bed the camshafts in for 20minutes at 2.5k revs, drop that oil and filter, check magnetic plug, and open the filter checking swarf. Refill oil with mineral 10/50 Titan superma, then 100ish miles to bed the piston rings in on the dyno using the motoman method, once bedded in drop superma oil and filter, Recheck swarf! Then I’ll do some road/street running up and down the Rev range with more superma mineral oil and another new filter, before dropping that for millers comp 10/60 and going to mapping and tuning dyno! Will video all this! Panic setting in

Yeah when ordering mass amounts of oil we need that discount to beat eBay! Just got myself loads of millers running in oils, and proper race millers oils etc. code helps a lot
