Also a good garage to go to near by is a place called Japex mate. Check them out they always delt with my gt4 and are very good.

I'm only about 10-15 miles from Watford mate be good to meet up once I have mine!

Yeap I do indeed, more likely to go pick up December time this year but may end up being jan time next. It's agreed that I pay deposit, and have time to sell my current car which won't be long hopefully and save the remaining! I'm not sure much will change, he won't be driving it personally once the deposit is received it will just be cared for and kept running healthy until then. I would love to say what car it is but it'll spoil it buddy.

So I've been registered here for many years and spent many hours surfing through projects and supras in general getting a good idea of what a perfect supra would be for me. Friend of mine had a n/a and still has but don't think he's a member here? Matthew Connelly! Anyway I posted a few weeks back that I'm on the look out and within a week I was contacted by someone on the forum here that seems a great guy. I have had all the history on the car and pictures galore sent to me. I'm well chuffed with it, over what I could originally afford but we've made a agreement, at the moment I am keeping it a secret until I have her which is looking to be December this year! I am giving my deposit to the member which is in no rush to sell, in May, of £1000- which is securing the car for me in a garage lock up, he is then further dynoing the car and getting another compression test done. Although he has all receipts for ££££s of work and health checks already. For my own piece of mind I've asked for it to be done again after my deposit is paid just for piece of mind. so by the new year I will have the car and will be showing it off regularly at meets and such too. Cannot wait to meet and great you all.

Many thanks for your reply, it's nice to here they are so reliable and I've always heard they are great cars I scower the forum all the time and read and read so know quite a bit now but always learning! At the moment I think I have sourced a supra for myself from a good guy here on the forum and he's in no rush and being very good to me regarding selling my own car then funding.. Will update if anything changes but as it stands I think I've found the one! Won't jump the gun and tell as yet but all seems great and got some time to purchase this one so all good so far. Been checking the forum very much lately after a long break away and I'm finally very close to be ready to buy. Only thing left to do is sell my current car, but before I do that I'm having a full health check with a specialist and get a years warranty put on their as it was rebuilt there and the option is open so hopefully won't be too long now. Preferably I would love to get a manual 6 speed TT. Or maybe a 5 speed, single but whatever I get has to be a daily reliable driver, With reasonable milage, preferably standard as possible, very good bodywork and interior, basically a solid supra. One I can use as a daily driver without mega bills repairing ect. Colour I would like to get is either white, quicksilver or gun metal grey. Import better but uk would be considered. Other things I'd like would be Year: Not a major priority Facelift: Would be nice but not fussed Mileage: Low as possible MOT remaining: Hopefully a year Service history: Full Car's location: Uk Modifications: Reliable ones Good bits: Everything Bad bits: Hopefully none PRICE.. Now I'm hoping to get 11k for mine so that's the range Please PM for anything else you may need to know

Not sure when it was last changed but when it was checked yesterday it seemed ok. Edit- Has anyone had this problem or come across it? If so what is the solution!?

Just been out for a good long drive in my supe that i got sunday!!! But it seems im getting a slight grinding sort of noise whilst engine breaking occurs, Whilst accelerating its fine,And on tick over clutch in or out seems fine! Gear box feels tight,plently of oil in it too, Really worried about it!!! Help needed!
