  1. N/A or tt engine? Condition? Import or uk model? History?
  2. Thanks mate appreciate the input.
  3. Yeap door hit me fell over broke my left leg so can only drive a auto for now anyway! Just my luck.
  4. I'll just hide away in the corners now.
  5. Just wondered how it affects value. I do like the sound of the dct though from Paul and I think that do justice to value in the future. Just don't want to de value the car. I'm limited to power increases with auto, so hence why I want to change that in the future.
  6. I'm only asking because mainly how it'll affect the value and my best options currently the way things are. I'm not doing it to sell the car or go on about power gains. The current market is changing all the time and old post don't justify todays market and the changes due. If that makes sense
  7. I would be fitting all the parts myself, I'm not doing it for the money at all, more for myself. But I do wonder what it does to the value of the car itself of course. I understand the vin won't match. I have looked a little into the R154 but have no idea on them really, or what that would do to the value either. Want it manual, so I can increase power etc. But don't want to ruin the car or value compared to its auto matching box...
  8. Firstly how much would it cost realistically with prices they way they are at the moment. And Secondly, what will it do in terms of the cars value in the future. It's a Jap tt auto 97 model, with 97k miles.
  9. As stated above looking for a white tt auto, lowish miles, near standard spec and in good condition. Wether it's a freshly imported one or not it's not a bother. After looking and extensively searching for a supra this is what I've finally decided for. Budget 12k max Not in a huge rush but would be nice to secure one. Thanks
  10. Is it not worth the plunge for someone to restore the cars shell, then either replace the engine with a low mileage one, or rebuild the current one, and also maybe rebuild the gearbox too? No idea what condition the turbos and other stuff maybe in though!? Then would this car not be worth as much as any other low mileage uk spec? Obviously no idea what price the overall restoration would cost, Even the shell will still be high mileage, it's a gamble I guess.
  11. I work as an engineer building gear boxes and diffs for f1, rally and touring etc, let me now what you need if I can help I will mate.
  12. Not massively in a rush no mate. Wheels look fine to me buddy. Anything will do really. Just as long as legal, fit the supe and stuff
  13. Agh I'll pass mate, need a set for a few hundred quid really, they are literally just to get a car home mate, won't need them after that I'm afraid.
  14. To be fair as long as they can clear uk brakes it's all good it's just to get a supra home soon
