I fully dislocated my right shoulder on Christmas eve tearing all the tendons and muscles etc, I fell over on some ice and the pain was unreal!! I'm still off work even now as I'm unable to do my job till I've complete movement of my arm and shoulder. I had the steroids in the joint of my shoulder and it wasn't too bad an injection. When you see the syringe you think "F*ck this!!" But believe me it looks worse than it is. It's more of an ache and discomfort I found rather than being very painful when injected in my shoulder joint. It takes a few weeks for the steroids to work, but it's help me a great deal for doing my physio therapy
