  1. lmao! yip! i know about a 800hp VW passat with 2.3L 5 cyl audi motor cruising the streets..(i work on that baby!) and a 880hp skyline road car..(wish i could work on that thing!!)
  2. ok... looked on the site for a turbo. got a GT42R... the power range is 850hp. now could somebody just tell me what type of T it is... just a wild guess T64?
  3. i looked around for a good clutch.. does OS Giken quad clutch plates ring any bells? and for the gearbox PPG straight cut set
  4. ah ok. so the turbo is a bit too bit. need to upgrade the clutch... what about the diff and shafts? i'm aiming for about 900hp. low boost 1 bar and hight boost 2.4 bar the cams will be Tomei pieces high lift cams
  5. i think the turbo is a GT47-88?? dont really know about the GT turbo's. only the T turbo's
  6. lol. yeah. like the guy said. fit another motor. they also came out with a twin turbo motor
  7. i just want to know what you guys think about my plans with the supra. im creating a everyday road car but something i can really take to the strip and drive the shboogie out of it and at dyno days show up and still wow the crowd. pistons - wisco rods - eagle ARP rod bolts(still searching for main billits and want to replace those billits's bolts with head studs) 1000cc injectors(750cc just feels more suited, doesn't it?) dictator engine management stage 1 boost cooler HKS super sequential dumpvale turbonetics wastegate T88 BB turbo exhaust and intakes are made by yours truly. and just a 50hp shot of NOS for those days that i just want to go a bit faster 268 intake cams 278 exhaust cams wasted spark keeping diff, clutch, propshaft and drive shaft stock. good brakes. dont know the name. when i phoned them the phone only rang... and i phoned 4 times. stupid place! the brakes are race tested and road tested. withstands 900 degrees and picks up 80% less dust. still searching for strong valves and im thinking about dubble springs for the valves... if anything sounds too big or to small. just let me know. or if you have a tip. please share!
  8. small question... the euro version is left hand and the jap version is right handed? or is it the other way around?
  9. i would really appreciate it a lot! the more i know about how to avoid the problems the better.
  10. thy are just f&(^kedup! when it comes to cars SA just suckes! in durban the had a thing called operation drag racer. the smallest mod would have gotten you a ticket. rims of 17" and more would get you a ticket. this place really sucks when it comes to cars im im a petrol head speed junkie mix. i may not know everything about motors but im trying my best to learn as much as i can... about the import company... thats gonna cost a lot of money... im buying the car for R110 000 including shipping costs.
  11. once i have it and im past the crushing its smooth sailing from there. mod the car. make it a code 3 and put it through the road worth test then i can drive it when and where ever i want.
  12. i get confused a lot with all numbers. its a '95 model
  13. I made plans to import a Mk 5 twin turbo supra to South Africa but i have a small problem. A lot of the imported cars here get crushed... And i mean A LOT. on avg of 20 cars that get imported here 13 are crushed. Do you guys know of any way that i can miss this hole proses or to minimize the chance of my Supra getting crushed... Any advised will be much appreciated!
