  1. Yes indeed mate, I want to go travelling.
  2. Thanks, I love her but she has to go.
  3. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/724197.htm Any questions please dont hesitate to ask.
  4. It wont go into first untill about 30mph or so.
  5. There aren’t any legal implications when fitting a HID kit to a non projector lens, however the scatter created by the lens wont be very adjustable and the beam pattern will be all over the place. Only then is when it becomes an issue, e.g. failing an MOT test or getting pulled by the cops for dazzling oncoming traffic etc. Just purely retrofitting the kit and using it on the UK roads on a projector style lens or an older style reflector lens has no legal implications. Projector lenses are the redeeming factor, quite a few post 95 era Jap cars have projectors fitted as OE thus they get away with it. EDIT: The orange section in the OEM facelift indicators is removable chaps.
  6. Not true you will be fine with HID's, there are no laws regarding retrofitted HID kits. However never fit them to a car without projectors due to scatter, fortunately all Supra’s have projector lenses.
  7. The thing is it’s not really a manual mode, it’s not an after thought either as all auto Toyotas and in fact most auto cars in general from the 90’s use that lay out. It’s not really meant for changing gear manually, it’s actually meant for engine braking when going down hills etc. Obviously you can use it to change manually, however you need to be good at judging when you need to select the next gear or you will hit the limiter for a good few seconds before the change. I drive a manual BTW, clutches and manuals are best. EDIT: It seems they are meant for changing manually, in which case I agree it's an afterthought as that layout has been the same for a long time.
  8. That's hardly surprising, on a country lane that would leave a TT for dust as well. N/A's are great cars, however I can't help thinking that they aren’t really worth owning now, as the insurance, fuel and tax is pretty much the same. The only difference is purchase price really, and I personally don't have 8k+ laying around for a nice UK or Jspec manual TT.
  9. Poor rabbit. Poor car too.
  10. Has it got no cut outs in it? e.g. no fog lamps cut in etc? Also what condition is it in?
  11. Don’t drive it, it will be lean as hell and break very quickly.
  12. lol no, id never own an Auto Yes it's killing me to fuel it.

    sz's?

100k rebuild on an RX7, you will be lucky! More like every 40k! Honestly, Id go for a TT Supra! However the RX7 is a beautiful car and tuning potential is about equal on both cars. You can get RX7’s to 400bhp quite easily and the RX7 would be significantly quicker than a BPU Supra. Also purchase price is a lot cheaper, you can pick up lovely examples with a rebuilt engine for about 5k.
