The problem is all I have are my insurance docs I havent got anything relating to me owning the car? I really dont want to have to use a bus for 6 weeks

Just wondering if anyone knows of any way i can tax my car in my current predicament. I bought a car back in feb handed over the money etc. signed the V5 and left with the car. 5 Months down the line and I remember i need to tax the car, try to find the v5 or tax reminder. I cant find either and realise that I have never received either. I called the DVLA who say it is still registered to the previous owner, they advised I can tax the car if I still have the green slip but I think I have thrown this away as i belived you could only use this for up to 30 days after you bought the car. I have been back to the chaps house who says that he sent it off about 4 days ago with 2 first class stamps(yeah right!) but obviously the DVLA have not received this yet (nor will they ever i doubt). So what can I do? do I have to just acccept the fact i have to pay £25 for a new log book and wait 6 weeks for it to come through? Sorry for the ramble and poor spelling/punctuation. Cheers, Miles

I cant believe i missed the end! i had to leave when the race was red flagged around lap 20 whatever and i had it on record but because they moved channels It hasnt got it! I player only shows up to when they restarted the race up to lap 30 ish. does anyone know where else i can watch the end?
