  2. yeah it was me, sorry to disturb you on a sunday, i might be giving you a shout at some point but i will have to save up for a bit as i couldnt really afford the diff but couldnt resist lol. cheers for you help
  3. half shafts from a preface lift i believe but someone may correct me on that? been told half shafts are a bugger to take off though so we will have to see when i have some money and have the motivation to take it all off again lol.
  4. got my new lsd today from deano h, me and a few mates from the forum decided to have a go at fitting it today. All went well, got the old diff off (well they did most of the work on this bit) the we got the new one in position and was wondering why the bolts wernt catching and doing up, so we took it back out and compared the diffs (which we should have done in the 1st place) and the new one has bigger flanges( i later found out that my facelift supe has a different diff to pre face lift) after all this my supe was still sitting there with half the back end off so had to put everything back on without the prospect of a bit of sideways action finally got it all back together and working but bit miffed that i cant go test the new lsd:( never mind, i kinda know how to take a diff off a supra now and put it back on lol. sorry for the long ramble.
  5. Trying to fit a LSD to my supra which is an sz '95 facelift (no lsd as standard.) I have a new one, complete (outer casing etc..) The old open diff is out, but when we tried fitting the new one the flanges that the half shafts go onto were different (larger diameter by about 4mm, and large threaded holes for the bolts.) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=147259&highlight=lsd As said in the thread it is off of an n/a. So what needs doing? do the flanges need taking off of the old diff and putting onto the new one? (Really want to get this done today so that the car can be used tomorrow...Any help will be much appreciated )
  6. second conncl, was good to come and see a dyno in action, never seen one before, shame i didnt really know what all the figures were lol. Cheers for letting us watch, and shotgun the second showing of the trial supra . thanks for the mots back! miles. ps that supra on the rollers was gorgeous!

  8. set them up so you have maximum float on them and gradually tighten them as you get more confident as above. have you had the obligatory fall at the traffic lights lol.
  9. i could be really wrong here but i think i read somewhere that you need a minimum of 7.5 on the front and 8.5 at the rear. (please correct if wrong) miles

    HID's

was it hard to wire it straight to the battery or is it fairly simple? Would you recommend them or do you think it would be better to spend a bit more? cheers
