Hi chaps, Just wondered if anyone could recommend a way of getting sky go to work abroad. I want to watch the f1 tomorrow on sky go on my dads laptop in Italy but obviously sky won't let you use it outside of the uk. I have seen uk proxy servers mentioned before but am not 100% clued up on them. Also I would rather not have to subscribe and pay a proxy server for the sake of one race so a free one would be fantastic. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the replies,I think the phone is to old to be g en a free replacement as I think they only do it with phones under 1 year otherwise they offer a replacement for around £130? Just wanted to see if I could fix it myself for fun.

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone here is good at fixing iphones? I have a dead iPhone 3G at the moment, took it apart and there doesn't seem to be any obvious signs of water damage and the battery seems fine reading 3.7v. Is there a way of working out which part is faulty without actually replacing them?as I would rather not buy parts that aren't needed for instance and if it is the logic board board then I think it's game over. The iPhone does not switch on at all, no apple logo on screen etc, it is not recognised by the computer when plugged in either. I have tried leaving it on charge for a while to see if It comes back to life but no luck yet. Any ideas? By the way this is not my main phone so im trying to repair it mainly for fun.

I went and saw this with my girlfriend this evening,we both thought it was utter rubbish. When the film finished all you heard were people saying "is that it" I didn't find any of the paranormal activity films scary just a little jumpy. Some bits were actually funny though.

Hello chaps, I know it's not a corsa forum but alot of you seem to be pretty good when It comes to car problems. My girlfriend has just bought a 1.2 corsa c 2001 and it sounds pretty rattly, I know they have a timing chain so aren't going to be super quiet but wanted to know if this rattle seems excessive? I dont have a dixons near me i doubt they will come back into stock online either.

they say you have to have it connected for 12 months but the eng said just have it in for the installation and the first call back to sky. They sometimes send you a letter saying your phone line is not connected so all you need to do is connect it up again so it does a callback to sky then you can unplug it again

cheers guys. I was hoping for a bit more than £50 really as i know someone who recently took an old fiesta to the breakers and they gave them £150 for it. The mot place mentioned that down the coast i could get up to £200 for it if i can get it down there, just wondered if any one had used somewhere they could recommend. L33wgn- where are simms based? rather than starting another thread does anyone know if breakers by old catalytic converters?

Well my car failed its MOT yesterday of a number of things, manifold, rust on sills, handbrake cable, rear breaks and a few little bits. Its going to cost in the region of around 300 quid to fix, i only paid £575 for it originally (97 clio RT) so im thinking of scrapping it and claiming the tax i just bought for it back. Where is the best place to take it to get it scrapped to get the most money? someone mentioned taking it to the coast as they give better money for them there but does anyone have any specific places? cheers.
