  1. Well after getting bummed up the rear at the end of June and having the car fully repaired a few weeks ago I got a surprising phone call this morning. My solicitor rang to say that the insurance company of the guy that hit me were offering a sum over and above what I was expecting to get. I was happy to accept anything over £2000 but they came in at £3200 plus my loss of earning for the time I had off. Pretty chuffed with that so now I wait for the cheque to arrive and clear then transfer the funds into SRD's account:eyebrows: or maybe interested in JP block that he is selling.
  2. You find a turbo blanket sexy, weirdo! Exhaust looks nice though JP. Not likin. The turbo blanket in the bay though spoils it IMO but it is there to do a job.
  3. Is it another big deposit gets some discount or wont you budge on the price.
  4. Just big enough to fit your head through. Nice
  5. I have some Bride full leather seats dude. PM me
  6. So with my change of plan with the car and the cancelled Hypertune manifold the next step was to try and order a S cover for the 7675, unfortunately they don't one for the 7675 apparently so I am going to have to change in IC pipework to 3''. Lee is ordering a new engine gasket set, ARP main bolts and a set of ARP rod bolts. The port and polished head I bought is also going off for inspection to see what it has in and needs doing.
  7. The cars not even up and running and already your talking built box which will then proberbly mean bigger turbo. Ha brilliant.
  8. Ha I remember saying to you go 6 speed and your reply was, Never.
  9. A nice RS6 Avant Mr Bush very nice it would look on your drive.
  10. Missus looks tidy. Car looks alright nice and tidy.
  11. I think your crazy mate, you have a stunning supra that just needs a strong box in it. Once thats done you have a machine that would kill 99% of whats out there.
  12. I read that its going to be a summer weekend car now, what ever you choose Jamesy hope you have better luck than you have had with the supe.
  13. Your prepared to shell out that on a daily driver but you wont get your auto box rebuilt, mmmmmmmmmmm
  14. No I think your the big boy Aero of the club hodgey.
  15. Finally you have lost your marbles. My cousin used to work for TVR when they were at Blackpool and he always used to comment when he saw a Cerbera how bad they were and how it used to keep him in work.
  16. It goes pop will just drop another in, hopefully Lee should get the bits together and the S cover housing.
  17. Thanks the plan matey. I look for the next avalible chance to get out in it before the weather gets bad.
  18. 1100 in 9months most of which was going to SRD and Ryan to sort the dodgey injectors out. I have done about 300 with it all running sweet in 4weeks and 120 were at our Sussex meet on Friday.
  19. Massive change of plan now. After our sussex meet last Friday and driving round with Lee I am changing my plans for the car. The original plan was to fit Hypertune manifold, 7675 tubby, stage 5 head, Cosworth pistons, Carrillo rods, billet mains, shimless buckets, 4'' DP/MP and all relevent hardware, bolts etc. Lee asked me why I wanted to go to all that effort when I'm only after around a extra 100fwhp which my response was I want to make the engine safer at that HP. Lee's reply was 'your car drives really nice, it's quiet, it's quick and he would use it to drive to work if it was his do you really need the extra power. So after an a couple of phone calls to him today the plans are. Hypertune. Manifold cancelled Get a S cover compressor housing for the 7675 turn the boost up and let's see what we can get to safely. Mean while get the port and polished head inspected fit double valve springs, stage 3 SRD cams, billet mains, ARP head bolts, ARP main bolts, ACL Race bearing and ARP rod bolts and leave the stock pistons and rods in my spare block. This will be built up and left with Lee until it is either needed or I want to change it over next year. The car doesn't get out much and I don't abuse it every time I'm in it so it seems the right thing to do and with the missus wanting another baby soon it is the best thing to do financially at the moment.
  20. Thanks for letting me know that much appreciated. But I still would have the M3.
  21. Horrible. I was meant to have my sisters Cooper S for a month and after 6 days I went and hired a car because I couldn't stand the thing. I definately wouldn't buy one.
