  1. Finally! Been waiting about 7 months to get a clutch fitted, but due to cash flow (or lack there of) I've been limping around. But tomorrow it's going to Paul Stablers in Darlington, and I might acctually be able to put the mighty NA power down (watch out Saxos, here I come). It's going to be £380 all in, for a basic clutch. No comprehension if this is a good or bad price, but it needs doing. Only problem is, Its going to be another month or so till I get a new diff fitted, so I can't go having too much fun.

  3. Surely the cost of buying an NA then converting it will far outweigh the cost of buying a nice TT straight off the bat? Especially at todays TT prices.

  5. we are currently experiencing technical problems
  6. I have a few more, will try to upload later.
  7. Looked very nice coming the opposite way to me, massive wheels.
  8. Haha, thats a big compliment! That car was my original inspiration, still thinking about buying the face lift splitter bar. (then adding about 400bph to the wheels, spending a couple of grand on some CCW classics, getting some drag slicks and moving to california )
  9. Direct from MVP, can't remember what it came too. Maybe £250? I think you live in near me, if you want to have a look one day we could meet up. The problem with mine is i fitted really badly the first attempt, si it looks a little 'tatty'. some pics of mine a few months ago.
  10. I've got the WW RMM in polyuerethane, and i love it because every time I bash it, it just flexes. I have the ears removed, and its unpainted. I'll get some photos of it at some point.
  11. Putting larger diameter wheels on a car makes a massive difference to handling. Due to this most car enthusiasts wouldn't dream of putting them on there car purely for asthetic purposes.
  12. He'd had full geometry set up, and a set of 18" alloys, with pilot sport II's (not sure on the size), even after that it was still hard to control. The eletric systems failed multiple times. Eventually got written off due to driver error. Another friend has had a gt4 for about 2 years and had to nothing other than rear wheel bearings. Also, you can get a nice example for around the same price as an NA. with the benefits that come with buying a turbo'd car (IE bolt ons). I just posted up the GS300 pic, as it was a nice example, I didn't say he could buy that model for the same price as an NA.
  13. Just had another look at the GS300's.... *drool* http://www.jp-boutique.jp/product/aero/GS300.430/img/GS300.430.front2.jpg
  14. He's driving a 306 at the moment, used to own a TT IIRC. I wouldn't go for a Mr2. A close friend of mine had one (1993 g-limited) , seemed VERY unreliable, really skitish if you got an oversteer and look REALLY dated in comparison to the Sup. GT4 would be nicer!
  15. Looks like we're going to be able to take some more today, damnit!
  16. I hadn't seen that, but I am now very interested. Let me know if you do find a seller!
  17. Released the hand brake and i can't hear the noise?
  18. Had no confidence in the car at speed recently, and when going over speed bumps there is a rattle/bang from the rear. When parked up with the hand brake on i tugged and pulled on the rear wheels to feel for play. When it rolls a little bit there is a banging seems to be coming from the centre, near the diff. Now I know i need a new diff, but this is almost like metal hitting metal. Any one have any idea? Could it be the sub frame mounts? wheels bearings? It seems like it is something "hanging" banging into something else. Exhaust seems solid. Also, does anyone have the torque figures for all the sus and sub frame bolts? tldr; banging sound from rear when testing for play.
  19. I realise this is now useless advise, but you should try some lagavulin. Just drank 1/2 a bottle of it tonight (naughty). God it's nice.
  20. Looks good, i'd get the light inards sprayed black too tho.
  21. I'm liking red sup's more and more these days.
  22. Also interested in this as i'm hoping to buy one or the other in the next 2 months or so.
