  1. Just to get back on topic, does it have any TRD components? If no, remove! Window spoiler needs to go too
  2. Could you link the refurb guide, just posted in wanted about aquiring a rear caliper!
  3. Off-side rear caliper for a 93 j-spec NA. Mine is stuck, and have been told it will be easier and possibly cheaper to replace the caliper rather than re-furb the old one. Please PM me if you have one.
  4. Yeah! How dare they not like Jamie's supra! How could they have their own opinions!
  5. Just recieved mine, will post pics when fitted
  6. Exactly. I've met him, and he was really pleasent. Seems like most people on the forum take journalists word on everything.
  7. Stock front w/active front poiler, OEM skirts/spats TRD Spoiler or Wingless. Facelift lights all round and clear fender repeaters. Get to it!
  8. Woulda been 12 months, but it wasn't in the rain, and he was wearing his leathers
  9. That damned Peugeot advert where the French woman says "Poo-gee-ooh" in such a condescending accent. As if we need telling how to say it correctly. It's "Pug-got", innit.
  10. I think I've confused myself now. If I can find a differential from an NA car, whether its auto or manual, it's a direct swap, and the ratios should be the same. If it's from a TT the ratios are all screwed. Is that correct?
  11. Oh right, interesting! So what would legthening the gears mean? Slower acceleration I assume? Do you think it would be noticeable?
  12. Sorry for all the recent posts, guys. Does anyone know of any traders, breakers or anyone that may stock a differential for a 93 NA manual? I have an LSD, and would prefer to have buy another one, but thats not 100% necessary. Unfortunatly, Homer has informed me an auto diff will not fit a manual car, so that doesnt seem to be an option . EDIT: Keron has non in stock.
  13. 100% the best Family Guy sketch.
  14. This was matt black, ill get some of them gloss black tomorrow.
  15. I know! To my knowledge I need: Diff, sourced and fitted. ~£300+ Caliper servicing kti and fitting £70 New brake pads all round. £110 New handbrake shoes. ??? New air filter. £16 (standard cheapo) Full geom set up. ??? & 2 new front tyres. £200+
  16. I did mine matt black, with chrome rings the first time i refurbed them, the second time I went full gloss black, and much prefer it. However they have been a nightmare to reseal, and one still fogs, no matter what I do.
  17. Well, i got it back tonight. He showed me the old clutch, it was paper thin, with heat spots all over the friction plate. But the difference is amazing. I've still got to get the diff fixed and let the clutch bed in, the car feels so different! Light and, dare I say it, powerful! However, he pointed out (and i had suspected for a couple of days) that my driver side rear caliper is seized, so I'll get a service kit from Mr T, and back in she goes.
  18. Not sure if this helps but... 18x10F & 17x11.5R CCW Classic Wheels http://www.accelcreative.com/acceljunky/images/htsup3-big.jpg
  19. Great! Thanks a lot guys. Do they take a lot of fitting?
  20. I don't really know what they are called or the part number, so was hoping someone might beable to help with my ignorance. I heard they were £35? That seems too cheap though. Looking to sell yours?
  21. Not sure what the part number or name is for this, but the inserts in the front bumper pictured below. Anyone know supplier/cost/name, & how do you install them?
  22. Looks much better than the VS, but you should try and squeeze a stock front bumper and active front spoiler for your birthday aswell!
  23. The teeth are worn, I think. When you give it some beans it makes a horrific rattle. And getting under the car you twist the propshaft about 1/4 or a turn before it fully engages.
