  5. yes we know this but that means nothing 16 years down the line. I have had manual 6 speeds that have had auto trans tunnel mountings and all sorts of weird stuff. toyota did some weird things.
  6. yes, I have advertised it as open diff but it came off my auto tt, so it could be a torsion. I havn't opened it to have a look so am selling it as open. yes it still available. cheers matt
  7. Reduced price its a bargain, they are new, thats 6 injectors, YES 6 injectors. I can't believe this crazy price. For all you tight ars!s out there who don't want to pay for anything here is your dream come true. £175 posted to England PM me
  8. ok, wasnt sure i thought some had. anyway there is something not working that is not sending a signal back to the ecu to trigger the pumps and ignition. I have had seen a few ignitors fail. sorry i can't help you any more/
  9. have you checked the crank sensor plug is ok? and the igniters do fail
  10. I know it sounds stupid but try jumping the battery with another car, my alarms plays up under anything below 13.2v and wont start, no fuel pump, same probs as you.
  11. I know this topic has been talked about a lot, but is there anyone who has actually ran stock rods that were put in new on a rebuild coping with 800bhp. I don't mean a 15 year old engine I mean a new rebuild with stock rods and stock pistons with ARP hardware. I do not want regurgitated information from hearsay on other forums. I am after someone who has actually rebuilt a 2jz gte with new rods and stock pistons and ran 800bhp with no problems as a street car, not a drag car. I know a few have done in the states but I am after some accurate feedback from anyone in the UK at 800fwhp (UK). There seems to be a lot of info on the net but most of it is duplicated hearsay. This is a straight forward question. Please don't answer with "someone you know ran this or that". I am after someone who has done this and either blown it on the dyno recording the figure it collapsed at, or still has it running. More of an accurate assessment tbh, rather than a random hearsay. I know of one tuner who I have spoken to in the Uk who said that they had a customer request to see what the stock block would take on their dyno before failing. The results were just over 700fwhp. But he didn't say whether it was the rods or bolts or a bad tune. Also the engine used was a 13 year old engine. Also has anyone ever tried comparing the force needed to bend or distort a stock rod as opposed to carrillo rod, in a hydraulic press for example. If anyone has recorded this data please let me know.
  12. Does anyone know what size exhaust housing the t71dbb billet is. On the site it says 3 5/8" but i have a 3" vband down pipe. Is this an external measurement or is a downpipe 3 5/8" needed. Surely its the flange diameter not the pipe?
  13. Yes, just a bit. Would cost me more in catweasel than the engine.
  14. Can some one remind me, I know when you fit the getrag you have to fasten all the nuts up on the pressure plate through the inspection hole on the box. When taking the box off can you just pull the fork arm out and pull the box off the bell housing without doing anything else? I can't remember? or do you have to undo all the bolts on the clutch pressure plate again?
  15. Sorry is there some confusion, I am after 96 onwards or a late 95 if it has the crank angle sensor. Hope this is clearer now.
  16. too far for me i am afraid. thats if you live in cheshire?
