Branners, I work for Auto-Media who organise the Autoglym Best in Britain Competiton at the show, but we also help the organisers on the rest of the show where needed. According to the track timetable, The BDC qualifying rounds are all day on the Saturday with the Final being held on the Sunday. I'm pretty sure that Prodrift aren't there at the weekend.

To be honest I have posted a thread about ISTS in April. I have also spoken to an events moderator on a few occassions about JTS and the possibility of making the event the clubs National Day with parade laps of Silverstone, designated parking areas etc. Maybe this might be an option, especially with JTS holding round 2 of BDC aswell. Hot off the press: The latest ISTS news for those into cars, motorsport, music, performance tuning and styling: 2 circuits will be running independently all weekend with excellent vantage points to watch all the action. For hardcore track fans you can purchase track time, on the KW sponsored Southern Circuit, in advance at £25 per session or an amazing £99 for 7 sessions on one day. All 7 sessions are for the same car and driver. To book call 01775 768661 ext 224. Round 1 of BDC will be held on the Stowe Circuit. If you fancy a ride hitch a lift in one of the BDC drift taxi’s for just £10. Westfield Sportscars will also be on hand to give you a thrill with their high adrenaline passenger rides, or you can chose to go on road or off road with driving experiences. It’s not too late to register for the Autoglym Best in Britain competition. On Sunday the Skylines will be attempting to set a Guiness World Record with the most Skylines on track at the same time ever. Hi Steve, the prices on the flyer are day tickets. £45 is the weekend price per person including camping. This is a 2 day show, the first time Silverstone have allowed a modified show to do the full weekend. There is track action both days on the Southern circuit and drifting on the Stowe circuit. I am working on JTS but as yet have not been given confirmation of prices although would not expect them to change. JTS is a one day show so would not be this kind of price. There is an early booking bonus of a £5 per ticket discount if you book by 31st Jan, also for every 10 cars you get a free drivers weekend ticket, so it is then up to the club whether a person gets the free place or the extra saving is split across everyone. I have a Cruise Control ECU and motor (not the wiring) and a rear wiper motor for sale. I am open to offers and I am able to bring them to JAE on Saturday should anyone have any interest. So why not come and have a haggle? Jason

I am looking to remove my cruise control unit from the engine bay as I have an aftermarket steering wheel, so it never gets used. It will also help in my quest of tidying up the engine bay. The question is: Is it just a case of removing the control unit and cable from the engine bay and the cruise control ECU from the car? If I do this will I have any potential problems, such as warning lights coming on or problems with sensors etc? Thanks for your help, Jason

I had a similar problem with my alarm. I cured it by unplugging everything from the alarm brain and plugging it back in again. It's worth a try? Jason
