  1. Based on most of your opinions and personally, my first choice as well, i have ordered the Rota Force set in GUNMETAL for a more modern & aggressive look and tons of brake caliper clearance ( i have K-Sport's) Let's hope i have made the right choice. Can't wait to bring you the pics with the new look
  2. Thanks for all the opinions and suggestions lads ! Really appreciate it. I see the poll is pretty tight and now i have another option i've been looking at after your suggestions : Rota GTR + Rota GTR-D for the rear. Silver with polished lip. Why is it so hard to pick one of them lol
  3. Oh, sorry i'm a bit tired Good old 18" would be the diameter.
  4. Pitty the MXR's are only available in steel grey, yes. The color is actually a lot lighter than in the pic for Steel grey. I know, that's why the dilemma Rota Force ( Gunmetal) 9J ET35, 10.5J ET40 and Rota MXR ( Steel Grey) 9J ET35, 10J ET45
  5. Hi chaps, I'm about to order some new wheels and i still can't decide between the Rota Force and Rota MXR. Considering my car and the wheel options, what would you chose ? I'll take a poll until tomorrow. Vote with confidence. Thanks ! My car : Rota Force ( Gunmetal) 9J ET35, 10.5J ET40 : Rota MXR ( Steel Grey) 9J ET35, 10J ET45
  6. Thanks for the answer mate. Yes, mine will be 10.5J indeed but with a +40 offset. This means they will actually sit 2mm further in. But i'm going to use a 275 tyre so it will be pretty much identical
  7. Amazing how a nice set of wheels will make such a drastic improvement in the looks department. It's perfect now ! Absolutely stunning. May i ask what tire size are you running on the rear i will have a similar setup (10.5J, ET40) and would want to know if stock arches are ok. Thanks
  8. When i clicked the link i was honestly expecting a horror story.. Thank God it's just this, as i am in the process of changing my wheels to Rota's as well
  9. Nice pics mate. Lovely looking cars there !
  10. Very nice and aggressive Supra. What front lip is that. Kansai\Paisley ?
  11. One bad thing about the UK is the fact that there a too many Supras there. Some being pretty bad examples, as we know. They also come at prices that makes them accessible to a lot of people. People have less appreciation for them there, compared to other countries where Supras are really rare. Sometimes i wish RHD Supras were just as expensive as LHD ones, so they cannot be messed with so easily, but other than that, i'm thinking i would probably never owned one myself at those prices. Nothing worse, than a Supra falling into the wrong hands ..
  12. A nice, well maintained Supra, without a silly bodykit and neon lights, regardless of the engine specs is the exact opposite of a chav car. How in the world can you classify this as a chav car, dear God... Supras are a thing of beauty.
  13. Wow... They must be joking or really trying to make you feel bad somehow because they drive little boxes that nobody will care about in a thousand years. The Supra MKIV is one of the most respected and sought after imports. Outside the UK, people will break their necks looking after a nice MKIV.
  14. The thing that drives me crazy about my Supra is the fact that it's NA !
  15. Ok guys, the MXR's seems to be kind of unavailable at the moment ... Now, i'm considering the Rota GTR's ( GTR-D for the rear). What color do you think would suit my car best ? Choices are Gunmetal or Silver with Polished lip. Personally i'm leaning towards gunmetal. Cheers
  16. So it should be good then ? How about 10mm offset difference between the front and rear, do you have any idea if that could have a negative impact on the car ? Thanks
  17. Thanks Jamie. I would be satisfied with ET40 or ET35 too as i don't want to roll the arches, but no luck with this wheel i'm afraid... They have more widths and colors for it, but in the US. Yeah ! I fell in love with it the first time i saw it. Thanks Nic. ET45 and 10J is the only rear option in Europe, unfortunately and it's even worse that i'm terrified of spacers...
  18. Hi chaps, Well, a need of a change in the looks department is bugging me lately. Would like to change my wheels with something more aggressive and the Rota MXR's are really growing on me... Problem is that here in Europe, there is only ONE color and one staggered fitment available Fitment : 18 x 9J ET35 18 x 10J ET45 What do you guys think about the offsets? They are a bit uncommon and my concern is that they might affect the look and how the car drives (paranoia). Should i go for them ?
  19. I'll give those a look. Thanks mate ! Sorry, i was referring to the Type 1 spoiler here, which is unavailable. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?212386-Carbon-fibre-front-spoiler 475 pounds + shipping for the real Seibon one is still too much for me. That's why i was thinking more about a used one. Well, i'll give it a thought and decide if a new lip is really worth spending 300+ pounds for.
  20. I have stock suspension, i might stand a chance Yeah, i know they are a fortune... I was thinking more about a used one from Europe ( if i can find one). Whifbitz doesn't have that carbon lip style anymore, i've talked to Paul I saw that Rob's active spoiler is for sale, but he prefers pick up and i can't do that..
  21. Come on Josh, you know you want facelift lights too now
  22. Thanks for all the suggestions chaps ! I'm going to give a thought on this. Now i'm tempted in a Seibon carbon lip, they are expensiiiive, but love the style. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEIBON-93-98-Supra-Carbon-Fiber-Rear-Lip-Spoiler-TJ-MK4-/350487774542?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item519ab3054e&vxp=mtr Will keep you posted with how this turns out
  23. Stunning car mate ! Congratulations.
