A Supra is a Supra the Focus is just a Focus. You could be driving a nice N\A Supra and you attract more attention in a day than the Focus ST would attract in a year. One of the things i love about the Supra is the notoriety, everybody thinks that it has 1000hp and people are just amazed by the looks. With that much of attention i don't even care it's only 200hp anymore lol Also, the 6spd NA platform has unbelievable upgrading potential when compared to the Focus ST. Personally, i always thought that hatchbacks are a little "girlie".
  5. Fitting is one thing but handling and bearing wear are other things when having low offset wheels... I personally wouldn't go under +35 on a Supra. There was a nice thread on SF regarding wheel setups and there was this wheel guru there that always said don't go under +45, get a wider wheel, you'll just put more stress on the bearings and won't be able to run a decent size tire.
  6. That's about the same as 10.5J and ET24. They would only EXTEND an extra 2mm compared to yours.
  7. Don't think so mate. He said they were 18". 10.5J, ET24 and 19" would be nuts, you'd have to cut a chunk off the fender lol
  8. EDIT : Question was asked above.
  9. I'd say that's a bad offset for a 10.5J wheel if you don't want serious fender mods. I'm running 10.5J with ET40 and the wheels already look pretty aggressive. 275 tires on mine already look a bit stretched.
  10. I've been quite hesitant about that, but yes i agree it would look much better lowered, as with any Supra for that matter. Ride quality is superb with the stock Bilsteins and i have no rubbing issues, don't know if that would be the case with coilovers though.
  11. Here's my stock body Supra finally fitted with the Rota Force.

    Na-t build

    Engine bay looks so yummy
  13. GT-R what ? lol This thing is drop dead gorgeous, seriously. Only thing i would change is the rear bumper, for the stock one, maybe with a Carbon Diffuser. But it's just my opinion. Superb job !

Supra TT 6spd, all day long.
  15. That's some serious power for not a lot of money ! Got to be happy mate. Hope it stands the time test.

Can't wait to see it in action ! It looks absolutely stunning.
  17. This reminded me of an event back in 2008, when i bought my Supra from the UK. I was on the motorway heading back to Dover, it was quite congested and i drove a few miles next to a lone gent in a Ferrari 360. Both cars were red. I noticed he was quite stunned of the Supra, staring at the car continuously. Supras are indeed a thing of beauty and i am really proud i can own such a car, even if it is only a NA.
  18. Sounds like a very complex NA project. Have you dyno-ed the car after all these mods ? Really curios on the power output. I know mate, but for me a Supra isn't a Supra without the sound of the Turbo I6, it's just my fantasy lol
  19. I'm staying true to the almighty I6. V8's don't work for me in the Supra, even though that LS7 would make it a beast. 500HP and only NA...
  20. Yeah, NA lag means getting from standing still to barely moving lol. Modifying the GE engine, while leaving it naturally aspirated is useless IMO. I remember seeing a "300hp" NA somewhere, but he must invested a fortune and there is no more room from there. I really would rebuild my GE with TT pistons and get a quality NA-T kit like those supplied by Paul Whiffin. That would be a reliable 400-500hp i think, but it costs so much...
  21. Only moment when i fell my NA is painfully slow is when accelerating at high speed, 50+ mph in 5th or 6th gear it barely pulls with the pedal to the floor, than it kind of slingshot's a bit after reaching a higher rpm 4k+. Kind of a turbo lag lol
  22. Stock Lambo's aren't very impressive, but the twin turbo ones are crazy.
  23. Good luck on Saturday, Jake. Hope it's sorted for good now, this has been a big hassle.
