  1. The ad sounds like a joke to me, seriously. And that engine bay looks disgusting.. makes me wanna punch the owner because he has a GTE and doesn't take care of it. I have a NA and still keep the engine clean and serviced even though i know i'm gonna throw it in a couple of months when it go NA-TT lol

    hey guys

Hi there ! Definitely go for the TT mate. I've bought an NA for the same reason, thinking i need to get used to powerful cars first and the TT isn't for me yet. Got the NA and was amazed how easy to drive and predictable it really is...sadly also noticed that it's not as fast as i would of expected it to be. I've also bought a late facelift model, stunning (inside and out) became so attached to it that i don't want to sell it and get a TT. Instead, i will go through the hassle of a NA-TT swap. Save yourself from this in the future and get a TT
  3. Wow ! What a beauty. That's exactly how my ideal Supra would look like
  4. I remember when i went for a trip in Europe with the Soup, everyone (from old to young) were looking at it with their mouths wide open, taking pictures, i've been followed by different cars trying to take pictures or movies. Every time i would park the car somewhere i would find 2-3 people looking at the car and taking pictures with the car. Never felt so proud to own a Supra in my life. Also may i add that it's a stock , mint 97' SZ-R, tell me you will get all this with an EVO haha
  5. Sound is no issue mate, the louder the better for me So, did the Motoria exhaust ( the two piece system i guess) fit both setups without headache ? If so... that's the exhaust for me.
  6. Heard that.. but why are many exhaust systems sold depending on the application(NA or TT) ? I'm after a direct fit in both cases, with mods you ca fit a bathroom pipe to your Supra
  7. Currently i'm saving cash for NA-TT. My car , besides being a NA, has a stock exhaust and its kinda boring. I would like fit an aftermarket exhaust until the swap to get things moving a bit (at least acoustically), then use it with the TT engine. (preferably a direct fit on both) What are my options ? Thanks and sorry if this is a repost
  8. Is seriously supercharging a NA Supra an option ? I've never seen such a kit for sale or a supercharged Supra running:search:
  9. Any thoughts on these two ? DOTZ Mugello(first) and BBS CH Black(last)... Managed to find some nice looking cars with these rims but they weren't Supras:rolleyes:
  10. I'm open to suggestions regarding what other rims would look better on the car
  11. Hi there, I would like to buy a new pair of rims for my Supra, but i'm not very good at matching things , maybe you can give some help on this... I've summed up the rim options i have at this time below, they will be 18'. Current rims are 17' Racing Fox wheels. Tell me what to go for or should i stick with what i have Thanks in advance ! The car
  12. Thank mate, just wanted to know before making a mass order
  13. Hello guys, As i am in the process of going NA-TT i am tempted to buy some parts from the US as they come cheaper. Parts like the exhaust, clutch, FMIC ect But it's the first time i attempt buying from over the pond Do you know if there any compatibility issues between these US parts and our J-Specs? Cheers
  14. You're right mate , NA it's not fun at all, apart from the looks i get because it's a Supra lol The car is a 6spd NA so i decided that NA-TT will be a really good option in my case.
  15. T-I-G-G-E-R, if i'd saw that before making this thread i probably would have bought it. In the meantime i decided to go from intake upgrade to NA-TT lol At this momment i am in research and fund raising ...
  16. This may be the fact i fear most in my life lol Anyway... I'm looking primarily for a better sound and engine response, i realize that real performance is impossible without adding a turbo in the equation and that's not what i am looking for right now. Considering what all you guys have said i think it's a better idea to go with an Apexi panel filter and a good aftermarket exhaust and a decat and maybe save for some headers in the future..
  17. An aftermaket panel filter in the stock airbox is it worthed? I have to say being NA is a pain in the a$$, are there any mods i can look to in the future besides the exhaust? Excluding NA-T, and engine swap of course i don't have that much money.
  18. It does , but i really need to hear / feel something different, being NA isn't fun you know
  19. Thanks martini, but i really want something straight out of the box.
  20. Ok, so for quite some time i'm looking for an aftermarket intake system but ended up buying nothing because i am too confused with what will fit on my car. The MAF sensor thing, the fact that the most important brands intakes are for 2JZ-GTE(i am NA) and what are all the pieces i really need for this ( i want to do it myself) really made me hesitant about this. So, what i am asking please, if possible is the part number of the intake that should work with my 1997 Toyota Supra NA ( Non VVTI) from Apexi and HKS( Does K&N being oil coated mess up my sensor ?). Also i would like to know exactly what i need besides the intake kit itself. Thanks to anyone who can handle such a noob
  21. What Apexi intake part number should i look for in case my car is NA because i can't only find ones for 2JZ-GTE. Thks.
  22. Thanks for the help guys!
  23. Thanks Nic! Wanted to do a Power Steering Fluid change for a long time actually if this is what you meant. The steering is smooth and quiet only problem is a the rpm drop.
  24. Greets! Ever since i've got my NA Supra i've noticed that if you sit iddling and move the steering wheel left or right the rpm drops to an uncomfortable level than comes back to normal. I mean it hasn't been a big problem but i wonder if it's normal and if not what could be the cause. Thanks
