  1. Thanks mate. Checked with the template from Paul and it seems ok. Also from the information i was able to gather, the 8 pot K-Sport calipers actually offer better spoke clearance compared to the UK's. The UK spec calipers distance from the hub to the outer edge of the caliper is 39.1mm, whereas the same measurement on the K-sport 8 pots is 32mm. Another positive thing is that when using 330mm discs the 8 Pot calipers fit under 17" wheels and i'm pretty sure they fit under stock Supra wheels too. But that remains to be seen.
  2. Have ordered the K-Sports now so it's no turning back. At least i'll be special, being the only NA Supe with a big brake kit lol
  3. Or when you pop the bonnet and people hope to see a single in there My J-Spec brakes have very poor performance and i desperately wanted an upgrade. I've also have had issues with seized calipers and i really thought a brand new aftermarket brake kit will be the best choice on the long term.
  4. So i thought at first about the overkill. Thought what am i doing buying a big brake kit because i rarely push my car to it's limits and besides that it's just a stock NA now ! It's going to look so stupid. But when i got to analyze my other options i came to the conclusion that the K-Sport kit was the best way to go. A UK spec kit was only 300 quid cheaper and i didn't even know if my wheels were going to clear the fat calipers, besides that they look outdated. Hope i made a good decision though.
  5. Cheers Swampy. Car will either suffer an engine transplant (TT) or go NA-T, so i have an excuse now
  6. Hi lads just ordered a K-Sport 8 pot big brake kit for my NA Supe. I know TT brake cylinders have no probs working with the K-Sports, but they are slightly different from NA ones. Anything to worry about or they'll work just as good. Cheers Alex
  7. Superb ! Wish my Supra looked like that ...
  8. Man those wheels look so good on your car. One of the best combinations i've seen.
  9. I'll get one of these soon. Like on most Supras my current one is pretty scuffed.
  10. 7 second Supra for sale http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=618197
  11. These are do or die for the first six months of the year : 1. New brake setup : UK spec or K-Sport, haven't decided 2. Aftermarket exhaust 3. Fix door dent
  12. I haven't started mine for 5 weeks or so, battery is probably long dead lol
  13. I had the same symptoms when a caliper seized. The sound was more prominent at low speeds, almost unnoticeable at high ones. Like Dnk said, check for hot rotors\wheels first.
  14. Here a Photoshoot thread with it mate. Lots of tasty pics. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=550284
  15. Very nice these... Would of bought them right away if it wasn't for my brake upgrade Off : Any aftermarket exhausts for the NA in stock, Keron ?
  16. I may be interested but can't tell for sure until i go to Whifbitz and they confirm my front wheels don't clear UK's.
  17. Just got a heart attack for a moment there
