  1. You might also consider re-trimming the ones on your car. I was also thinking Recaro but ended up re-trimming my cloth ones and worked better cost wise. Really happy with them and they are way more comfortable now. Wished i went for a darker leather but fits ok with the same color facelift dash.
  2. An active spoiler like Josh said, leather seats and TRD steering wheel will spell PERFECTION. God i love black Supras !
  3. Haven't had time unfortunately mate. I'm at work now as well but tomorrow i'll be free and i'm picking up a set of pliers in an attempt to get this thing off. With the luck i'm having in doing simple things, i'm really scared about my next step in improving the interior : changing the head unit lol Watch out for a long thread there too
  4. Great Lola A pic would be nice if you can. Thanks Alex
  5. Still looking ! Offering as much as 50 quid for a really nice one
  6. Paul is still selling them. Have a chat with him. I'll also buy a new one in the following days. Hopefully they are in stock and they don't have to come all the way from Japan.
  7. It's about 80 quid + VAT right now from the UK. Any idea if these things are usually in stock or they have to bring them from Japan ?
  8. Thanks fellas. I'll give it another try today considering all your suggestions. Was really busy lately and never had time to retry. Will keep you posted. Alex
  9. It's possible. Maybe i'm too gentle, don't know. Well if it's there i'm not seeing it lol Tempting, but don't want to set my car on fire. Yes mate. Removed 5 screws from the top part but it doesn't make any difference and i can't see any other screws. Unless the bottom shiny part is really that stuck and they should be under there..
  10. Did that. With common sense though, don't want to break anything ! Oh you bet i've done that ! I have some nasty plans for this knob after it's finally off. Think i'm going to hammer it to pieces.
  11. Nice to see NA's also getting this kind of treatment
  12. Very unfortunate event. RIP
  13. Thanks for the advice guys but it's just not working. I've removed the allen screws from the top, nothing budges. I've tried removing the shiny bottom ring at the bottom, nothing budges ( seems like a fixed part). Looks like no OEM knob for me... This is the knob if anyone has any other ideas... http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005FEXD00/ref=asc_df_B005FEXD004906825?smid=A203ZM3BBAZZWT&tag=shoppingcommp-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B005FEXD00 Give me an oil change or coolant flush any day over this !!
  14. I've read about this thing on another forum, but this seems knob seems to be formed from just 1 piece, nothing budges. I' ll take another look though, as i'm out of options anyway. Thanks
  15. Hi there, Just bought an original 6 speed knob and i'm really having difficulties in removing the aftermarket " Typer-R" knob that was on my car. The initial smile on my face when i saw the knob easily unscrewing when turned anticlockwise was short lived. The knob stops rotating at some point just when it has so little to come off ! I tried pulling, rotating and pulling but nothing seems to work. Can anyone give me some advice on how to get rid of this thing without breaking the gear stick ? Cheers Alex
  16. Love the Ridox lip ! Car will be awesome with new wheels and coilovers. Great progress on this !
  17. This is pretty common issue on facelift Supras... the marks left by the car key accessories on the dash in the keyhole area. Is there any way to clean this off ? Or buying the whole panel is the only option. It really annoys me lol Cheers Alex
  18. From what i can see on http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/specs.htm, the SZ-R 6 speed has the same differential as the TT Auto with the same ratios. In theory, it shouldn't even need changing, but mechanical experts here should clear that one out lol
  19. I thought SZ-R 6 speeds were ideal for NA-TT swaps. Is replacing the NA diff with a TT one ( OEM or aftermarket) a straight swap ?
