    My Supra Concept

I'm dreaming to see something like this : 3.6L 3JZ-GTE I6 TT 450hp+ New Getrag 6 speed and a nice design that reminds of the old model. I'm sure this will never happen though ... Car manufacturers don't really care of what people want. This Supra concept is the best yet, but i find it a little bit too massive and the rear end is too radical for me.
  2. Hi mate, I use this website to find my parts. Never fails ! Just choose your model and start looking for whatever you need. http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/ I don't think Elmhurst will give discounts for so few parts but their prices are absolutely amazing anyway. Well below what you find on the website mentioned above.
  3. I don't really know what's been changed or sprayed. Either the front wing, but the color matches the hood and the bumper or the door and rear wing. This is how i've bought the car. Back then i was only interested in the car to be mechanically mint, which it is. What's funny is that the color difference magically disappears when the car is viewed from other angles or in the sun light. I would like to think that this fixable without a full respray but i don't think it's possible.
  4. Thanks mate. That was a lot of money, but as you've said a lot of other things were replaced as well. Wish i had the budget for that ! The paint job on my car looks nice but this color difference on the passenger side is driving me bezerk! If it wasn't for this i wouldn't of bothered with this really. It's a lot of hassle.
  5. That's what i was thinking too mate Thanks !
  6. Not that much Scott. 500 pounds at most. I'm getting the parts from Elmhurst Toyota in the US and they have very good prices. Question is, are these parts enough or am i overbuying by not re-using what i have on the car at the moment. I am clueless when it comes to full resprays ( and other things lol)
  7. Hi, I'm respraying the car in spring and i want to start sourcing the parts i need for this. Due to a somewhat low budget, I'm respraying in the same color and won't be doing the engine bay or replace the glass. Here is a little list of parts i have made. Am i missing something ? SEAL, HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL - 53395-14010 RETAINER, FRONT BUMPER, UPPER CENTER - 52521-14090 90467-09093 - STD. PART (5) (I'm buying because the current seal is pretty worn.) MOULDING SUB-ASSY, QUARTER, LOWER RH - 75065-19045 MOULDING SUB-ASSY, QUARTER, LOWER LH -75066-19045 (These are worn.) MOULDING, WINDSHIELD, OUTSIDE RH - 75533-14190 62371A RETAINER, ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHER STRIP, REAR RH 62371-14080 1 62372A RETAINER, ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHER STRIP, REAR LH 62372-14080 1 75551 MOULDING, ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH, RH 75551-14150 1 75552 MOULDING, ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH, LH 75552-14150 1 75710 MOULDING ASSY, FRONT DOOR BELT, RH 75710-14250 1 75720 MOULDING ASSY, FRONT DOOR BELT, LH 75720-14250 1 75573C MOULDING, BACK WINDOW, OUTSIDE 75573-14210 1 Cheers
  8. It's got one positive aspect to it. It's not called Supra ... (Thank God)
  9. Looks amazing in the last pic ! Considering the fact that it's the 5spd version, i will say the opposite of what the rest of the people said. I think it would work better if you sold it and bought a TT, if you still want to stay in the Supra scene. Out of interest, what color did you use for the respray ? Stock Toyota 3L2 ?
  10. Seen this on a website some time ago and was very impressed with it. Not for sale sadly... http://194.88.148.40/?mmid=95636eab8f58e6f0e http://194.88.148.41/?mmid=98f09eab8f203fcee http://194.88.148.40/?mmid=db8a4eab90782b26d http://194.88.148.41/?mmid=1455feab906813a32 http://194.88.148.40/?mmid=d03b7eab9058bf0b0 http://194.88.148.41/?mmid=5c811eab9038d8b71
  11. Really nice. Interesting idea to place the Supra in that kind of posture, don't know why but an old American pick-up truck comes in my mind for this kind of scene. Buying it ?
  12. Just get a V160 instead of buying W58 every month lol. Problem solved.
  13. Yeah right !! Complete waste of a car IMO. Any Supra left in stock form has a potential to look real nice after some touch ups but this...
  14. You may be in luck. The most unbelievable thing happened to me. After i've ordered mine from the US, found a guy that had one with only 100 miles on it, sitting for ages as he runs TH400. Got it for a very good price. Will sell one of them, as soon as the one from the US arrives. So keep looking in the for sale section.
  15. Looking good Jake. Good thing you've got rid of that cheap looking carbon dash, never really liked those. I think there's going to be a huge improvement when the new panels are fitted.

    Na-t build

Subscribed. Engine looks fantastic. Can't wait to see the car up and running.
  17. Getting her real tidy mate Wish i had your skills when it comes to this kind of stuff. Only took me 2 weeks to get the shift knob off. Nuff said lol
  18. Josh i hate you ! JK Stunning wheels mate. Best wheels for a red Supra IMO. Summer can't come soon enough with these sitting in the garage.
  19. Can't even describe how awesome this is... Wish i had the resources to own\build something like this
  20. Paul is working on a revised version of the NA-T kit. I'd wait for that. Seriously thinking about NA-T myself as TT engines are very hard to come by these days.
  21. Nice mate I'm getting really anxious to see this thing on new wheels and lowered. Next year i guess ? Bad weather is coming...
  22. Nice. But doesn't even come close to the Boost Logic Supra.
  23. Store it. Change the knob and the head unit. Fit the lower offset Pro Race 1.3 wheels i've bought some months ago for the fronts. Save up for a TT engine
