  5. Hi & welcome To use the PM system and to be able to advertise for parts or cars you need to pay the membership fee (in the T&C's you agreed to when you signed up) as we are a Club. It's £10 per year, maximum of £30 then you become a lifetime member or if you plan on sticking round you can pay the £30 straight off. To pay membership click on settings in the top right then on the left click paid subscriptions then select one from the drop down box. There are some nice cars currently for sale in the classifieds section, so pop in and take a look.

  7. Contact Baldy on here, he maybe able to knock some up for you
  8. It's okay, be offended nothing happens when you are offended. Being offended is subjective. It has everything to do with you as an individual or a collective, or a group or a society or a community. Your moral conditioning, your religious beliefs. What offends me may not offend you. I'm far from furniture but have been on here long enough to know what is considered acceptable and what isn't
  9. OEM wheels aren't sort after they are just the current flavour of the month with a few, just like OEM styling. Go back 10 years and it was all different again. Whilst I appreciate that nobody wants to lose money on parts this continual rarity/sought after tag and consequential price inflation is just getting ridiculous. Parts and cars have a price limit as a member on here recently found out after having his NA resprayed, much to his dismay. Just because the secondhand value of a part is x and to refurbish it to the point it becomes desirable is y it doesn't mean x+y=z. The problem is people are getting far too greedy with pricing parts and many love their Supra tax. Older standing members understand this, newer ones see it as a chance to make a fast buck. If you have wheels in poor condition that need a refurbish rather than be greedy, sell them for a reasonable price and let the buyer pick up the tab for having them refurbished and having new tyres fitted. If someone wants to be butt raped and pay extortionate prices on these so-called sought after parts there is Facebook and eBay for that.

  11. For a freshly refurbished set complete with centre caps and with new Michelin rubber i'd imagine £400-£500.
  12. Replace them with a set of OEM 17's and good rubber.
  13. I didn't know when they stopped using Asbestos as bonnet insulation, it was a genuine question.
  14. The UK should have adopted that system years ago, unfortunately for the UK it doesn't sit too well with the PC brigade. This is usually when they start chanting nazi and racist just to get people to shut up and go away. The liberals have a lot to answer for.
  15. I know barn finds are out there, i'm just sceptical at under 12 miles per month for 22 years. Maybe it was only driven to the shops and back. Maybe, just maybe it's like all the 60KM (magic number) Supra's exported from Japan. Only this time the owner of this particular car wants to maximise his profit as he knows these cars are in demand, decent examples command good money and they are getting harder to come by I'm not saying it isn't a low mile car either
  16. Surely a 22 year old car that has covered 5,000km would look cleaner and look to be in better condition? Not sure I am convinced, 140 miles per year???
  17. I like them It's nice to see something different from the usual HKS copy and I would be interested to hear how different it sounds to the Amuse Ti. I like the rear hanger you designed and it's a nice touch having the backbox as a bolt on option so you don't have to remove the entire exhaust. That is one of the complaints I have with mine. I also hate how low my backbox sits, the way the exhaust exits and the tail pipe itself. Personally I like an angled box/exit with a stock rear look, like below... and a slash cut tail pipe like the Nur Both of those are something I'm looking to have done to mine at some point.
