  1. I would have a look through here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?groupid=57
  2. You mention Jap history and MOT's, what about service history? Photos would also be a great help.

    Jeez, that was brutal.
  5. Just spoken with TDI, it looks like the rumours are true. Sam has left TDI and will be starting with Life Racing soon. Gutted
  6. That explains a few things, do you know if this immediate or if it is happening in a month or so?
  7. Sam hasn't left TDi, he has just mapped my car and is their Technical Director.
  8. So is he affiliated with your company? Are you still his boss?
  9. Jurgen, can you tell me who Kieran Bolton is please?
  10. OEM intake is by far the best option for stock and bpu engines, pop in a TRD or K&N panel filter and your good to go. I can't imagine that bit of silver foil is doing much to be honest, the cone will still be drawing nice hot air in from the sealed engine bay. Regarding the ali radiator, again stock is known to be the best option for the car and many run the OEM rad with big BHP cars without any issue. I'm not saying it's bad but it sure won't be as good as stock. The problem is people get far too hung up on form over function. When an OEM part needs replacing if they can do it cheaper and add a bit of bling in the process that tends to be the option they go for. I'm not saying the car isn't worth a look You just need to let your head rule your heart and not the other way around as it could cost you more than you bargained for
  11. It's not a true GTE if that matters to you at all? Not sure how that will show on any resale value. Engine bay needs a bit of work doing to it imo. Mainly cosmetic but that awful intake pipe and cone filter need removing and putting back to stock. I'd also get shot of that radiator and put it back to stock with the fan shroud and top rubber hose. As has already been mentioned, these cars are getting old now and parts are becoming an issue in both cost and availability. There is no mention of service history or preventative maintenance being carried out. For piece of mind i'd give it a thorough service and change all fluids along with the crank shaft pulley too. - How old are the hybrids, who built them and when? - What seals were replaced and were they replaced with OEM? - Are the new coil packs OEM? - Is the new tensioner OEM or some cheap ebay/Chinese jobbie? - What parts of the body work could do with some attention? - Does the aero roof leak? - What does the underside look like? E2A Hopefully the car has a history folder packed with receipts and invoices.
  12. So you are happy with the deal you received in the end despite having to jump through several hoops? Who did you deal with?
  13. Who did you deal with at Sky and did they sort this out for you?
  14. Sorry Chris I misread, I thought you were looking to store it. Can you get access to a crucible?
  15. Use high density polyethylene (HDPE) or polypropylene (PP) which are common around the house Other plastics will work too but you would have to look at its chemical resistance chart. Not all plastics will work. E2A https://www.calpaclab.com/chemical-compatibility-charts/
  16. By the looks of things it comes in two parts, 83950-14090 & 83950-14020.
  17. Ooh you cynic you! Why would you not say what all the "issues" are?
  18. Looking forward to this, I want Conor to pick him apart then knock him out. I've never been a fan of Mayweather so hope he will get his ass handed to him.
  19. Then maybe you need to look again because it's on there including the links of where to buy them from
  20. As I said in your last thread, anything you could ever want to know about transmissions is here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/group.php?groupid=57
