  1. You mean the forum has rules and a for sale template that has to be used? Surely not. Wow, it seems you are right - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?307494-Sales-Thread-Template-Please-copy-and-paste-this

    Supra

I've been alone with you inside my mind
  3. Give CW a call, he should have one from when he swapped mine over.
  4. Swapping a manual diff with an auto on a manual gives the appearence of going quicker as you are changing gears more often due to the ratio. Reducing the rear end will reduce the torque coming to the wheels but will increase the speed. It’ll make first gear feel like second gear, second gear feel like third gear and so on.
  5. Whilst I 100% agree with you Ric, it seems that those rules aren’t enforced or at the very best are selectively enforced. So they are about as much use as a chocolate fire guard. When was the last time you saw this done? Whilst not the best example of a for sale advert it is the best one I have seen posted for a long time. Apologies to the OP, back on topic. GLWYS
  6. Terrible Chris, just terrible Another numpty gone. I was taught to never to handle anything above 7ft when alone and never let them “sit” around you neck for obvious reasons. Judging by the article it was only a matter of time before he came unstuck. There really is no telling some people and they have to learn the hard way.
  7. Wow beautiful, what is the species? Obviously has a good temperament
  8. Contact LeeP @ SRD, they took over hecklers business - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?344682-My-Future-within-this-Forum&p=4246144&viewfull=1#post4246144
  9. Uploading photos is easy, there is a how to guide here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?247543-How-to-Attach-images-to-a-post-thread. Who did you buy the car from? Who serviced the car this year? What fluids were replaced (Engine, Diff, Gearbox, Brake, Powersteering, Clutch, Coolants) and what makes of fluids were used? Did the filters get replaced at the same time or just the fluids? Which gaskets were replaced? What are the DOT codes (not the speed rating) on each of the tyres? E2A Do you still have the outstanding issues mentioned in the MOT? https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk Registration number M364TOB As the car hasn’t any service history does that mean you don’t know why the car was off the road for the periods of 2007, 2010, 2012, 2013 and again between 2014-2018?
  10. To be fair to the OP, the wheels are a square set up (unless I am reading the advert wrong) and the offset is pretty poor. I can understand why he wants shot of them but as you say I wouldn’t be replacing them with Rota no matter which style of wheel is chosen.
  11. They have a pretty good reputation, a few members on here have picked up some nice cars for a very modest sum. The forums “authorised” trader is JM Imports so you could always try them.
  12. Have a read of this, the comparison was done a while ago - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?225007-Big-Brake-Kits-Real-Numbers More info here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?249089-Supra-Brake-setups CW’s view below.
  13. Here you go. Discs FR 43512-14200 FL 43516-14030 RR & RL 42431-14150 Pads Front 04465-14150 Rear 04466-14040 UK Spec Headlights RH 81110-1B210 LH 81150-1B210 J-Spec Facelifts RH 81110-1B231 LH 81150-1B231 VIN JZA80R-ALPVZW
  14. For the price you would be better off buying Chris Wilson pads (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?343621-Fast-road-pads-for-Jap-and-UK-spec-calipers-and-for-other-cars-than-Supras-too!) to go with the UK discs along with his stainless pins (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?336831-Stainless-steel-caliper-pistons-Caliper-seal-kits-Stainless-UK-pad-pins). Give me two mins and i’ll post up the part numbers you want.
  15. Walnut shell to remove old powdercoating and aqua blasting to remove paint would be my choice. If it is casting marks you want removing get the Dremel out. E2A If blasting the cam covers you MUST remove the baffles and clean them out properly before fitting them back on the engine.

  17. Looks lovely Mark, Vinney does great work but this if reflected in his price. Are you still having issues with your mapper?
  18. It will work like a piggyback ECU in that it will control the engine but the OEM gearbox ECU will still be needed.
  19. What does the £150 quote include?
  20. How about not trying him. He is a shyster of the highest order and was banned for a reason.
