  1. James Millers car Chris? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?283680-James-Millers-SRD-PT6262-8-Speed-Build http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?288977-Got-the-supra-back-from-SRD
  2. I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4 PS4 245/40/18 on the front and Michelin Pilot Super Sport 265/40/18 on the rear if that helps?

  4. As Scooter said or you can put the internals from that in to yours. Personally it would strip the lot and rebuild using new OEM parts from Toyota. Whilst apart it would also give you the opportunity to give the important parts a DCT treatment for extra strength/longevity.
  5. TCB would be worth a try.
  6. Sorry for the late reply I have been away. I’m confused looking at the photo, are you saying you have taken the diff out and can’t put it back? I also hope this has been sorted.
  7. At the very minimum I would open it up and make sure the insides are in good condition before fitting it. I would be looking for any excessive play in the bearings, checking all teeth and ring gear. Then fill it with a good quality 75W-90 oil, fit it and take it for a run.
  8. Im not sure. The ratio might be stamped on the crown wheel, take the cover off and have a look. Yes, the diff will fit.
  9. Might be this one - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?350494-Uk-Twin-Turbo-Supra
  10. That’s pretty much it in a nut shell, it’s a thankless task and will take some time. Checking caps can be done with a small piece of white paper, slide it between the cap and the board and look for any staining.
  11. Looking at this “issue” from a car audio (amplifiers) point of view, the board will be okay. It’s the components soldered to the board and the solder that will have a life span. Caps will start to leak with age, it’s inevitable. They have a shelf life just like a battery but you need to catch them before the electrolyte fluid leaks onto the board and shorts it out or worse catches fire. If you know how to solder and the same or equivalent components sourced it should be an easy fix.
  12. If you are going back to OEM 17’s then I would highly recommend you get in touch with Chris Wilson and ask him about his re-valved Bilsteins, springs and geometry set up. For the money (around a grand give or take) nothing can touch them, Chris will make the car handle like it’s on rails.
  13. No problem, you do get the odd “one” who likes cutting weeds as they drive What size wheels do you have fitted and what profile tyre? Is this car for the road or the track?
  14. Coming on well I have to ask though, after going to all that hard work why aren’t you going to remove the windows?
  15. I assume you checked the throttle flap to make sure it works as it should?
  16. That is because the Supra will handle like a shopping trolly if you lower it too much. The car isn’t made that way. They are not comparable in the slightest. Bilstein are a far superior product, they are OE on almost every high end car. Lotus, Mercedes, Porsche to name but a few. They offer excellent compromises for ride comfort, handling and durability. A lot of aftermarket suspension kits come over sprung so you can lower your car without bottoming out the tyres or worse. Are looking at form over function? For example; sick blud, u slammed the shiznit outta it.
  17. Assuming as you mention Aristo you are using the later tiptronc box with the buttons/paddles on the steering wheel?
  18. You can count the teeth on the ring & pinion to make sure it’s correct. If you divide the number of ring gear teeth by the number of pinion gear teeth it will give you the ratio.
  19. ^ All of his videos about his Tesla are interesting, it certainly opens up your eyes to potential ownership. My GP has just sold his Evo and ordered one of these. At least he has deep pockets!
