Manual is the way forward for big BHP but if you are content with 500-600bhp you could always get an uprated autobox and cross your fingers

Depends if it has been repaired properly. An independent inspection might be advisable & being a CAT D write off will affect resale price.

I like it on here it's a good laugh. It is a little difficult keeping the surprise car a secret. She keeps asking questions about parts that have turned up and why I keep searching old posts. But now a few of her mates are pregnant she sits here knitting hats & jumpers and leaves me alone

Thanks, are they a direct snug fit or do the need sealing into the units as has been mentioned previously. Any problems come MOT time? Can you still "flash" the headlights?
