  1. I thought I put the Escargot build on here but can’t find it. It’s pretty interesting watching a commercial vehicle build.
  2. https://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?324880-Dashboard-coating-stripper
  3. Wouldn’t mind betting most Toyota techs haven’t ever seen a Supra.
  4. I didn’t say anything about pulling caps off the ECU or desoldering anything, you would need the values first and then to order replacements. That was your interpretation. I’m talking about removing the ECU from car, whipping the covers off, taking of a photo of both sides, posting them up and doing the paper test. Could easily be done in less than 30 mins. You can lead a horse to water...
  5. OEM pads discs and a rebuild of the larger brakes probably wouldn’t go amiss either.
  6. So how did you get on with the checks or your current ECU? Want to take some photos and post them up?
  7. Personally I think it looks pretty gash, I don’t understand the fascination with the stuff. Almost as bad a flocking. I would class door cards and dash panels as high traffic areas. They get rubbed against and constantly touched. You have the complete beige interior then? Is it good condition? For the dash panels I’d get the car to a bodyshop who can offer a professional colour match service using a Spectrophotometer and have them refurbished.
  8. Not an ECU but the same principal. Caps look great. Caps removed, you can see the fluid has leaked.
  9. Whilst you’re waiting on an ECU, whip the cover off yours and take a look at both sides of the board. It could be the caps. To check for non obvious leaks, get a small piece of white paper and slide it between the cap and board. Blown caps are usually easy to spot as they balloon.
  10. Think you mean affect which is used as a means to impact or change
  11. I mentioned that above but guess you didn’t see my post on your iPad
  12. Alcantara looks great when new, after a year or so, awful. It wears out quickly if used in high traffic areas, needs regular vacuuming, regular cleaning with appropriate solutions and brushed to stay looking good and prevent matting. U.K. Supra was all leather inside, I’d go with that if it were me. That said, it is your car. Do what you want. If you want to mod it, mod it.
  13. I believe Likwidart is still going, think there has been a bit of a reshuffle with management but Rob definitely wanted the business to keep going. Maybe try Google or the book of faces and see if you find anything there.
  14. If you are concerned with the strength of the new parts then look at Frozen Soild - https://www.frozensolid.co.uk/
  15. Would probably be cheaper, easier and quicker buying a manual ring and pinion new from Mr T for the smaller A diff and fitting that to an OS Giken pumpkin.
  16. Any good - https://www.classicmetalshaping.co.uk/
  17. Just seen the video. Bet there will be some fights over who gets to drive it If you have a spare bit of money floating about I’d say go for it, strike while the iron's hot. Something completely fresh being done and from a really different perspective. The Supra community feels a little stale at times, ideas from yesteryear being rehashed across the board but this is great. Get the video up on the FB pages and get those Arabs interested. Maybe they will order a gold plated one! Don’t know if you don’t try.
  18. Extra piccies are good. You should look into getting a mould done and selling these. Provide a decent lead time and you could make a nice income off this.
  19. Flange, runners and bolt pattern too iirc. Do you know if the adaptor for the non-vvti intake?
  20. When is it ready and when is Al taking you out for a drive to the McDonald’s carparks?
  21. That manifold is going to crack with heat. It looks similar to the old SFS manifold that was sold as an “upgrade“ in the US.
