Would you mind posting the reg on here? Okay, put it this way. Worst case scenario it's needs a full engine build and new gearbox, do you have the cash available to do it properly? One of the things of concern is that there is no mention of an aftermarket ECU, does this mean it's running the stock ECU with a single turbo? - - - Updated - - - This ^

My personal feeling is that it's a whole heap of trouble. You could always see if a member on here is able to go with you to view the car so you aren't doing it alone. Take a battery you know works so you can try and start it. Have you a copy of the compression test? Also see if you can get the registration so you can check the MOT history.

I can imagine why I knob head like yourself would get the idea that duplicating threads is a fantastic idea and a great use of server space along with ignoring forum rules! IIRC Matts car landed from Japan on a HKS FCON Gold ECU already mapped running 1.3 bar. I don't think there has ever been a Supra imported from Japan running hybrids although I am happy to be proven wrong. I know HKS cams were talked about but I don't think any investigation ever happened.

It's been done before, the business in question usually finds out then threatens legal action and it ends a quickly as it started. The only way around this would be adding a review section to the hidden part of the forum that only "Club Members" can access.

The 4 pot front and 2 pot rears are the cheaper option and still great for the guys running single turbos. I can't believe you would be looking for decent brakes then using the word cheaper

It looks like the only part to have survived the accident! I can't believe the driver has walked away from that, glad that have though.
