  1. If you want glass but in a facelift style you need to pick up glass headlights and send them to Scott (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?298512-Refurbishing-Service-Off-the-shelf-swap-information) to facelift them. You can't interchange parts iirc
  2. As you are in Yorkshire your closest port of call is Chris Wilson, give him a call and see if you can book the car in. As Ric said, brakes are not something you want to be messing with if you have no idea how they work. It's a recipe for disaster! Good luck with getting it sorted
  3. What sort of wheel design are you looking for?
  4. Have you looked at the US Supra forum, they have 2 large threads dedicated to this sort of thing Here - http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?558091-Wheel-Tire-Size-Offset-Thread-Search-here! and here - http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?12049-New-Wheel-amp-Tire-fitment-guide.
  5. Come on D, spill. Who was it?
  6. Seeing videos like those remind me of this

  8. So you sold the White one and bought this or now own another?
  9. Surely fuelling will be all over the place using the stock ECU. How long is he intending to stay single for before adding the standalone ECU? I am guessing not very long...
  10. You can't go single safely on the stock ECU. If you don't have the 10-15K it will cost you to go single, stay TT.
  11. They are CCW if I am not mistaken.
  12. What about this (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?331965-2000-Toyota-Supra-VVTI-Twin-turbo-Tiptronic-Flappy-paddle-conversion-BPU-OEM) if you up your budget a little
  13. I guessing you will be the only one in Europe to be running the T56 so I can understand your apprehension with the outlay. If you haven't already done so, it maybe worth your while popping up a thread in the US Supraforums to see if you can chat to some of their members with first hand experience of the box. At the end of the day it can't be worse than the agricultural OEM 6 speed I don't think you are alone in that. Whilst spares were readily available a few years ago it almost made the price acceptable. But now...not a chance.
  14. Rather than look at it like that why not look at it as £4500 is a lot of money for a 2nd hand box with parts becoming obsolete?
  15. Dare I say the T56 could be considered an upgrade to the V160/1? If I wanted a manual the T56 is the way I'd be going.

  17. Money always is £350 seems a bit low to me, like you for that price I would rather fit it than sell it. It depends how desperate you are for £££'s, this is possibly why you have received (IMO) a lowball offer. It may also be worth checking to see if they are still available, I know before I took the plunge and bought the Syvecs I was considering going down this route but couldn't find them listed on the Racelogic site.
  18. I'd put it up for £500 and see what interest you get, they all seems to sell for that.
  19. Spooling will be better on a cast, but the sound will be different. It looks like a copy of the FSR manifold - http://fsrmotorsports.com/component/virtuemart/?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=129&category_id=22&Itemid=87
  20. I always thought the agreed value the amount you can prove you have spent on the car rather than the market value?

I wouldn't bother with the HKS induction, the OEM set-up is far superior for the TT. Just pick up a TRD or K&N panel filter to replace the stock one.

The Supra was fitted with 2 cats, 1st and 2nd. Replacing them both is part of releasing more power but you will need a restrictor ring and boost controller. Click the hyperlink for more info --> BPU. Tim of TB developments (an authorised forum trader) has just released his decat pipes, best on the market IMO. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?333595-Done-my-first-prototype-TB-Developments-3-quot-Decat-Pipe They cost a little more than some of the ones available but the workmanship and quality of material used speaks for itself. E2A I assume you are TT rather than NA?
  23. Uk cars came with the larger 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rears, but they aren't UK brakes Also stay well away from 19's unless you want to ruin the handling of the car. 17 front and rear would be the best option and the smallest size you could go with the larger OEM brakes. If you want something different 18 front and 17 rear would be a good choice or like most 18 front and 18 rear. ET all depends on the wheel, the search function is your friend is this instance as it has been covered many times before E2A A few threads from the US forum with loads of info in one place. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?286652-*official-Rims-wheels-Post http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?558091-Wheel-Tire-Size-Offset-Thread-Search-here!
  24. No offence intended but one persons idea of mint condition can be very different to anothers as many on here will attest to If you get some detailed photos of the car (exterior, engine bay, underneath) up we can make a better judgement on price. A list of parts replaced along with your yearly service/maintenance schedule would also be a good indicator.
