  1. Replace the OEM bit's with the upgraded parts from this thread - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?336831-Stainless-steel-caliper-pistons-Caliper-seal-kits-Stainless-UK-pad-pins
  2. Take the picture of your plate down Malcolm
  3. Is it possible to cool a box too much? i.e you stop it from reaching the optimum operating temperature.
  4. The diff code or if it has cooling wings as per Nic's link
  5. OEM parts are expensive but are expensive for a reason. Fit the correct part the first time round and save yourself a lot of heart ache, wasted time & money. Just my opinion of course
  6. Look at OS Giken, Jellybean has one fitted and Chris Wilson has highly recommended them for years. He supplies them too I believe
  7. IIRC silent coat is made by Car Audio Direct, here is a link to their products - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?cat=&q=silent+coat It's amazing stuff to work with, make sure it's warm when putting its on (use a a heat gun if necessary) get a roller, sharp knife and some gloves because it will cut your hands to bits!
  8. You could pop up a wanted advert on here if you were a member
  9. Looks like a lovely car for the price. Maybe a few more photos (can never have too many) of the car would be an idea? Engine bay (I know it's an NA), underside of the car and some nice side shots. Also service history, any parts replaced during ownership. GLWYS
  10. Can't go wrong with any of the Michelin Pilot Sport range. Also as j_jza80 said people on here seem to also rate the Vredestein.
  11. Welcome to the forum, I have always had a soft spot for the 1A1 colour. As Marcus said above that rolling shot is really nice
  12. A bit before my time unfortunately, I would have been great to see This is what I am torn between, if the OEM tubbbies give up the ghost do I look at hybrids for that little extra power and accept they will be a tad slower than the j-specs or go single on a cast manifold which would totally change the car. Toyota certainly didn't expect owners to double and triple the stock power figure when building this car so as you say I'd imagine more conservative power is best even with brand new suspension components and CW's suspension.
  13. I don't think it boils down to having the best of everything, reading several posts on here it's down to the age of the Supra the technology available at the time that was used. Have a chat with CW, he's always got very good info to pass on and as you know has a massive wealth of knowledge.
  14. Think a few of us a waiting on CW to sort out a heater matrix so we can do the same! They certainly look nice, knowing the yanks I'd imagine they are new panels.
  15. More pointless threads, copied and pasted from the internet! Can't believe you keep posting this stuff up In all seriousness though, that does look very tasty as does the rest of the car. I must pop over to the US site more often, thanks for sharing E2A That MoTeC display
  16. So €300 delivered? I wonder if there would be enough interest for a Group Buy on these and would it help bring the cost down?
  17. As I said above it's in the members only part of the forum (members chat), go there and you will see it
  18. UK Spec register is in members chat, it's a hidden part of the forum you can only access once you have paid your membership fee.
  19. You can always post up a wanted advert for a 3 gauge pillar pod. I member on here (b0svensson) made one up years ago and sold it via a Group Buy. Very good fit & nice quality if you can find one.
  20. A mechanic? E2A This (http://mkiv.com/techarticles/auto_to_6spd_swap/index.html) is an auto to manual conversion, and this is a 5 speed to 6 speed (http://supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?447700-NA-5spd-to-6spd-conversion-w-stock-rear-end) Hope this helps give you some insight
  21. ShawnPreece was looking for a Syvecs ECU here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?337147-Syvecs-ECU-for-2JZ-GTE-V160-manual
  22. Do you trust the garage that carried out the work? Have you thought about trying one of the traders on here for a second opinion? I was recently given a full set of VSV's from a low mile VVTi running BPU without any issues. If you want to try these you are more than welcome to them
  23. Sorry if this seems a stupid thing to say but have you checked all your VSV's and all associated pipework?
