newbie

School holidays already?
2. When were they rebuilt? Any warranty or guarantee on these? If there is a warranty or guarantee will this be passed over to the new owner or will the end as soon as you sell them on?
3. No problem Don't forget if you order from Amayama there is postage, VAT and maybe some other trumped up charges for importation I have forgotten. It may work out more expensive if the prices are close. If you don't mind secondhand or you need the part urgently our resident gearbox guru David P (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?25493-David-P) maybe able to help.
4. Amayama have it, not too expensive. Might be priced okay from your local Toyota, you never know
5. This?
6. Is that what you are looking for?
7. You really need to find out more info so any potential buyer is fully aware of what they are buying. Obviously they will be slower than the original j-specs to spool up as I assume the internals are now steel. Do you have any photos? When were they rebuilt? Who did Whifbitz use to rebuild them? Were they fitted and used after being rebuilt? If they were, what boost were you running and how long have they been off the car? Any warranty or guarantee on these? Should there be any warranty or guarantee will this still apply to the new owner or will the end as soon as you sell them on?
8. Isn't the Boostlogic a copy of the HKS Ti only in full Ti (just like the Whifbitz exhaust) as apposed to a stainless/ti mix. They should all be around the same shouldn't they, just with the ti sounding better? E2A There is this old thread, should give you a little insight - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?217156-Exhaust-dB-register
9. Welcome. To advertise for parts you need to pay the membership fee (in the T&C's you agreed to when you signed up). It's £10 per year, maximum of £30 then you become a lifetime member or if you plan on sticking round you can pay the £30 straight off. To pay membership click on settings in the top right then on the left click paid subscriptions then select one from the drop down box.
10. Give Chris Wilson a shout, I bought a new replacement from him this year for a reasonable amount. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?54-Chris-Wilson
11. I know it's probably a long shot but have you tried Toyota?
12. Not too sure, maybe an £8000.00 bid would be a good start?
13. How high should we push this auction?
14. Correct link for CW's stuff here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?336829-Fast-road-brake-pads-Supras-and-other-cars Sorry, I added the wrong link in my post above
15. This is what you need - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?336831-Stainless-steel-caliper-pistons-Caliper-seal-kits-Stainless-UK-pad-pins
16. Stormforce will last, they are extremely well made http://www.stormcarcovers.co.uk/collections/toyota
17. Is this any good to you Wez? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?232824-J-Spec-Engine-Harness-Connector-Details
18. Just be careful, the last thing you need is going past 120/130 and the gearbox kicking down a gear
19. How have you solved the kick down issue with the tiptronic transmission?
20. You could try Craig aka Swampy442 (http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?6850-Swampy442). I bought the A02B LSD he had for sale and iirc he still had these left over
21. You can't do it, there are no ways around this. It can't be done. Automatic transmission systems are not designed for push starts. E2A Whilst it maybe technically possible to push start some automatic cars doing so is generally impractical. The car must be pushed to a much greater speed than those with a manual transmission. - - - Updated - - - You don't use jump leads when trying to steal a car
