  1. Fuel tank is an issue but there are ways around this. Amazing example here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?232139-My-Supra-Restored-and-Built-from-the-Ground-Up Whifbitz make/made a twin side exit system - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?249652-Whifbitz-Side-Exit-exhaust
  2. I like the fact that you both seem to have missed the point, not too sure how to get the point across so I will give it one last shot. MLR HAVEN'T BEEN ON THE FORUM TRYING TO CIRCUMVENT THE RULES AND SELL THEIR LIGHTS, HARLEYFDMD'S FRIEND HAS!!! Anyway, i'm not a mod or paid to do their job. Happy Christmas all, i'm done with this thread
  3. Here you go, http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?56684-FAQ-Oil-Fluid-Interval-Capacity-Steering-Brake-Coolant-Diff-Engine
  4. You will have to either pm one of them or use the report button (Triangle with exclamation mark inside it) at the bottom of the 1st post then add a message.
  5. Supra classifieds section, I'm sure a mod will move it if you ask nicely http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/forumdisplay.php?38-Supra-Classifieds
  6. As per Ric's post it's looking like he might.
  7. It's not a random guy though, is it. He is a relatively new forum member attempting to circumvent the forum rules as he clearly doesn't think they apply to him, despite numerous public warnings and having his threads deleted. Traders and hobbyist's alike are voted in by the forum members (it's almost democratic) and they contribute financially for the privilege to do so. This money along with the membership fees go towards the running of the club (forum, events, loads of behind the scenes stuff et cetera). Doing it this way provides us as members a little safety net should things ever go tits up. I'm not a mod nor consider myself a long term member. This info is what I have picked up over my few years here as a member, if you need more in-depth details as to why the forum is run the way it is I would suggest asking Branners those questions directly. Just don't be offended if he tells you to do one or that it's done like this because that is the way he wants it done. It's his world at the end of the day and remember he is always watching
  8. They are still available new from Toyota iirc. A member on here recently bought one, let me see if I can find the link. E2A The TRC (Traction Control) should be 11277-46080. I'm having trouble finding the ECTS (Electronic Traction Control System) badge part number.
  9. No idea, I would imagine as each design will vary so will the price as it's all tailored to suit. I know what you are doing and can assure you that you are walking a very fine line, especially if the mods catch on. But this is purely my observation of course
  10. No you can't Besides, you can't beat Hecklers attention to detail and service.
  11. Some old videos and some great looking cars. Enjoy! [video=youtube;5PM-q9B7_1A]
  12. Personally I wouldn't use them, especially at your power level. Have a read of the quote below and make of it what you will
  13. Chris Wilson sells a decent replacement filter foam should you decide this is the route you want to take
  14. As above really, A02B is what you want. To be sure Toyota were right you only need to open it up. Left is open and right is LSD.
  15. Turbo or NA? I'm guessing Turbo as you are worried about traction issues Future plans? Do you know what diff you currently have fitted? The code will be on the VIN plate and a photo would confirm. You have 2 casing sizes, small and large. The majority will say that you need the large case if you want to go single, but if you don't hammer it with hard launches and high torque a small case should survive. E2A It's not worth going OEM as it costs more than aftermarket for a lesser product. Waiting for someone a breaker, for someone to upgrade then buying their OEM LSD or upgrading yourself to an aftermarket jobbie is your only real sane option Pre-facelift (05/1993 - 04/1996) 41301-24040 is still available and costs over 2k Facelift 41301-14100 is still available and costs over £1600.00
  16. Have a read of this - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?183451-My-New-LED-rear-lights and you will see why Heckler is the best at what he does
  17. Aftermarket, either TRD (now discontinued iirc) or OS Giken. E2A The OEM should be a safe stop gap if you can find one and can't afford an aftermarket one straight off the bat.
  18. So the bone stock Challenger SRT8 that has been imported is winning the votes for customer car of the year? Now that is farcical
  19. ^ Sounds like you are touting for new ideas? Not too sure what can be done to these that already hasn't. Aside from the kit heckler made for his car and the clear indicator conversion I don't think much else suits, some of these newer expensive rear lights made to imitate other cars look gash imo.
  20. Now we just have to buy every item separately and pay more for the privilege
  21. I picked up a set of rears recently which included the new looms. I had to wait a long time for them to arrive and my Toyota dealer had real difficulty sourcing one side with the loom as Toyota kept sending it without saying there weren't any left!
  22. I totally agree with you, unfortunately I have noticed the same thing starting to happen in the UK. Best bet would be to try and stock up on items that are reasonably priced and store them until you need them.
  23. If you find that offensive you should take a look at the pricing of parts on Supraforums, eye watering doesn't even begin to describe it.
