1. There is a first time for everything
2. No problem I thought the OE keys are made from brass... Obviously Brass is a "soft" metal and self lubricating in it's nature they won't damage the steel tumblers in the ignition barrel or door/boot locks. The OE key will wear down over time but that is the point, rather the key wear down rather than the tumblers. Knowing Ti is an extremely strong metal, stronger if it is aero grade and stronger than steel. I wondered if these were sold more along the lines of a souvenir with the caveat?
3. It's not just about paying your membership
4. Not sure if you missed my questions from the first page Noz?
5. Hi Noz, just a quick couple of questions about these. What grade Ti are these keys made from? Obviously Ti is harder than steel so I wondered how the tumblers in the locks faired over time?
6. Can't go wrong with Michelin Pilot Sports, also if you are happy to go with a 40 profile over a 35 the car will handle better and feel better to drive.
7. Big Supes car is a stock UK spec and was used by Toyota when they bought the FT-1 to the UK. Thread with pictures here - http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?323482-Big-Supes-s-UK-MKIV-Will-Meet-The-FT-1!!/page7
8. An A02B will fit fine on a VVT-i Tiptronic.
9. People didn't think there was a UK spec in MSB from the factory with 1A1 on the VIN but there was... So couldn't there be a small possibility of this?
10. Give Chris Wilson a call, he does rebuild kits for the larger OEM Supra brakes so may be able to help you out.
11. Going to look rather tasty, definitely different to the other guises and my favourite one so far. OEM with a psychedelic twist
12. How many different shades of Silver can you put on one car? Look at the front bumper fitment where it meets the offside wing. Listen to the bunch of keys hitting the bonnet at 0:34 Guernsey reg with a tow bar on the back, I wonder what the underside is like for rust. Someone needs to get in touch with Watchdog, Rogue Traders and Fake Britain. "It'a a clean car, nice car"
13. A Purple and carbon theme? I think the a carbon garnish on the pods would set the rear off nicely. The wing isn't offensive, I think it suites the car At the end of the day, your car is a nicely modified example of a Supra. Purists won't be happy, but so what. Each to their own
14. Are you not getting mixed up between single and twin scroll?
15. Yep, the forum search function is your friend. Also Google images maybe useful.
16. They should be still available from Toyota, if you are pre-facelift I think you need... Left - 55537-14020 Middle - 5553814030 Right - 55538-14020
17. Thanks for the link, the threads are dead though I found this,
18. Thanks, for the link it's a good read. Did the car make what Munro claimed it would with his spec and is he happy with the purchase? I just don't understand why there still appears to be a lack of real world testing and results. If Munro have indeed sold as many kits as they give the impression they have or if there are as many Supra's running their set-up as they claim why isn't there more info out there? You only need to Google Single Turbo Supra and look at the video results, yet when you Google Munro Turbo Supra or Hybrid Turbo Supra nothing Munro related comes up. Disappointing to say the least.
19. HKS cams are usually stamped/marked. Where did you buy them from?
20. Who's print out is that? E2A I know they have been doing it for a few years now so am surprised at the lack of info available (road videos, dyno runs et cetera) to back up the claims. I don't know of any Supra owners youtube videos showing how the car performs which is a shame.
21. Take a look here - http://www.houseofkolor.com/kolors/?ref=topnav
22. I have a new set of VSV sat here waiting to be fitted and will be buying another very shortly as spares. As for the cracking issue just keep your eyes peeled for VVT-i sets becoming available when people decide to go single. How do Munro get around this issue, when Chris mentioned it seem to remember it all going very quite. Will go check now whilst I remember. Do they make the power that is claimed?
