  1. I have a 3" lock knife and one of those multi tool things. Key is to make sure its good and strong. Keep it very sharp and your onto a winner. Depends on what your doing and how long your going out for to be honest. If your going to be a while out you may consider food while out. If you have ya dog with you then it will want fed also. Shoot, skin, then roast your game over a fire. Nice little snack for you an the hound. Skin and joint your game, peal a few veg and do them all in an earth oven. Pop a pigeon then use the knife n multi tool to turn it into a lure. knife use only limited by imagination
  2. aahh excellent. Thanks for the info I can just see the boss's face now. Picture the scene. I come in from the cold covered in oily black gunk. Hi there dear I'm just borrowing this to fix the car. (Darren runs from the kitchen)
  3. I've emailed a link to a good friend of mine who works in Japan. If he can get anything from it I'm sure he will let me know. Darren
  4. So just what does the lomon juice do and how does it work. I've never heard of this one at all.
  5. Lemon juice? Explain please
  6. Cut the wire on pin 62. Green whire goes to the ecu. White wire attaches to the wire from the sensor, thus completing the circuit.
  7. Ok I nominate ME for the numpty award When I put the plastic cover back over the ECU it looks like I severed the earth cable to the BCC. I've just earthed this to the body and it all works perfect again. Should I re do the earth to the wire it says on the ECU or will it being earther to the body be enough? Thanks for all the help though. It was much apreciated and I'd likely not have found the cut wire if you hadnt wated to know the voltage Ian Again thanks.
  8. I bet it is. keep going though and I'm sure you will win!!
  9. just had another thought. If the connectors on the coil packs were not at optimum fit. Would that show in an error code? I'm wondering if after fitting the new plastic bits they are not seating correct on the coil packs.

    Sos!!

    Well done that lad
  11. I'll do that once I get home tonight Ian. I pre empted problems by connecting the green and white wire with bullet connectors, so I'll just be able to unplug then replug and go. Is it just the voltage from the white wire end you need or what the greddy unit is putting into the ECU?

    Sos!!

Would drilling them and using easy outs be an option. I have to admit i have used these a lot in the past. Also if the screw head it buggered anyway and you can get mole grips on them use a blunt drill in the old head slot and fire the dril away. The heat from the friction is easier to control than a blow lamp I find. Hope this helps a bit. Darren
  13. aahh got ya. I've posted the problem in the tech bit. Ian C has replies and think it may be the fact I followed a USA guide to fitting the FCD. I've posted on there what I wired where and a post to my original question aboit its fitment. With a bit of luck I'll know what to pull to bits once I get home
  14. Hay there Ian. thanks you kindly for the reply. I was starting to panic LOL I've wired to the following pin outs. Red wire Pin 31 Black wire Pin 69 Green wire Pin 62 White wire the other end of the wire from pin 62. Full info on what i did here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=141607
  15. Code 31 relates to Air Flow Meter Circuit, so it says in the diagnostics link. But I didnt think the Jap TT had one?
  16. Cheers guys. Once its running again I'll klet you know what its boosting
  17. Parts in at Toyota today YAY!! They sent the wrong studs BOO!! Cheers Gaz, Envy to the rescue, they had them in stock again All fitted, now car wont start. Error code 31. Not a clue why either
  18. Hay there guys any advice greatly apreciated as I'm completely stuck now. Car is Jap spec TT Car already had second decat and cat back exhaust. Added FCC, Iridium Plugs, new plastic bits on the coilpack connectors, First Decat, Walbro Fuel pump. I changed the output voltage on the FCC to 4.3 volt as per the guids on MKiv.com Since adding there is wont tick over very well at all and wont run drive at all. Engine light is on so I've tested the error code and it shows Error 31 - Air Flow Meter Circuit. I didnt think Jap spec cars had air flow meters. So basically what have I broke on it Please help Darren
  19. The other thing to think of, after April you have have an auto MOT test fail if your plate does not have the name and postcode where it was made and the kite mark on it.
  20. I take it you have still not had any luck?
  21. So how does it take the corners then? You must have had to do a great deal to alow it to function correctly?
  22. Love the more unique motor myself. So what you adding next
